  Shimizu was too good for Punpun’s world that’s why I immediately thought he didn’t make it when I saw him on the ship. As a character, it seems he had spent his entire life stuck in the past, to the point the only way for him to be set free from this limbo was to die. I don’t think the hallucinations were a metaphor for any particular mental illness like schizofrenia, Shimizu was just broken, and he never got better. Maybe his arc ended the way it did because the author himself felt bad for him and gave him some semblance of closure, it was a rough read-through.

  I know he’s supposed to be bland, but what is so good about Makoto that he gets the attention of basically every chick in his general area? He’s neutral on everything at first, seems like a dork, and flip flops between anyone who’s interested in him. He blows. Sekai sucks more, though. Great video, cheers.

  I'm pretty sure I'm a lost cause. I've had a similar relationship (i.e. Aiko and Punpun) with a childhood friend of mine. She was a depressingly quiet and had a broken family like me. I basically dedicated my life to her. In retrospect I only did this out of a sense of feeling good about myself. At the time neither of us knew yet that she had ADHD. So because of it we've had many falling outs but eventually reconnected again in college. I ended up almost dying in a car crash and looked back on a lot of things and realized that I could never figure out if she genuinely even really cared about me at all for those 10 years. Now I only wish to live in the hopes I can dedicate my life to someone (preferably a lover) forever. I couldn't care less about my life or future anymore. I just want to be used.

  음... 이즈음 캐릭터 성격을 4개?정도로 나눠어서 선+선 부터 악+악까지 해서 플레이 하는 게 있었죠. 사람이 어느정도까지 잔인해 질 수 있는가에 대한 실험같기도 하고 주변 여자들을 농락한 이후 남주가 살해당한다는 건 어쩌면 당연한 결과일수도요

  Reading this manga was a ride. Glad i didn't stop at any point. Took almost 3 days to finish though, full of lessons and trainwrecks of reality. As good and as bad as Fire Punch

  28:38 I do want to correct you here, this is actually originally one of the bad endings you can get from failing to save Yuka. I actually got this ending on my first playthrough of the game because of a glitch where kizami went through the door and caught yuka the moment I started loading to go into the other room. And I didn't immediately load my save because I figured that was just part of a cutscene and was supposed to happen. This scene actually happens as an early indicator you recieved the bad end, since this bad end actually is pretty long. Esentially what happens is Ayumi and Yoshiki get in an arguement over returning, Yoshiki claims she only wants to go back because she loves satoshi and doesn't care about anybody else, and gets upset with Ayumi because he actually loves her and confesses it then and there. Ayumi comes back to heavenly host and starts showing signs of posession, instead of returning naomi's wallet with her charm in it, she instead steals it so that naomi is guarenteed to die, and then ends up losing her own and needing it to survive anyway. They discover Yuka died and Satoshi give's Yuka's charm to Naomi so she can survive. The ending basically ends with everybody besides ayumi dying because of ayumi's possesion and then ayumi herself dying. (I might be wrong on some parts of the ending so feel free to correct me but this was glaring at me while I was watching this video.) edit : I just realized you mention this bad end later on, the way you mentioned it here made it seem like you didn't know about the bad end, i'm sorry haha.

  This was fantastic! Loved your original Corpse Party video and am only just getting around to this one, but it was a fantastic analysis. That Blood Drive chapter had me so hyped for the third entry. While I enjoyed the rest of Book of Shadows, since we know many of those characters’ fates already, I think that final chapter was the development and progression I was looking for. The way it ended, I was shocked! …and then actual Blood Drive game felt like such a letdown. Ah well.

  Amazing video and yeah, that last part is one of the yabest thing i've read (Or watch) in a long time, but i had a good time with the game, i think the variations of the endings makes up from the School Days VN, where at least 7 finals are the same. I don't recommend it at all because you have to enjoying watching trash like some of us does times to time. Now, since we're speaking about VN taking a lot of risk, my friend, Wonderful Everyday (Subarashiki Hibi)
