    I understand your concern and it doesn’t have to be a science project. You can use a bucket 🪣 a hose a sponge 🧽 and dawn dish soap 🧼 and follow any procedure you like, have fun while at it 👍🏻 However there’s no way that you’ll get the same results; there’s levels to literally everything in life, and this is advice for those who want to follow the professional path. No need to follow this 🤝

    I purchased 2.0 and found your channel. I hope that the area where you placed the water spot remover came back? I live in Florida so I do not use a water spot remover but I hope it was just a fluke. I will stay tuned. Weekend warrior here

  • @OQDetailing
    @OQDetailing2 күн бұрын

    Awesome good to hear, It didn’t necessarily come back but it wasn’t completely damaged, it just took a hit but the coating will still do its job. The problem was that I mistakenly over applied the water spot remover but you should be fine, I wouldn’t worry 👍🏻

  • @user-ky5ku6km3r
    @user-ky5ku6km3r2 күн бұрын

    Did you try re washing the car panel after applying the water spot remover as sometimes it can bring the ceramic coating back ? Carpro water spot remover is only PH 4 so should not really effected the coating.

  • @OQDetailing
    @OQDetailing2 күн бұрын

    👍🏻 Yes, if you slow it down you can see I re-wash and rinse. The problem wasn’t the ph necessarily but the fact that the labels says leave it on there for 30 sec to a minute max and I left it for more than double.

    @@user-ky5ku6km3r yea I understand your concern, but I wouldn’t say it’s failing. Yea I didn’t expect it to go bad that quickly to be honest. The bristles were a tad bit stiffer than the EZ detail so I kinda liked it but yea it didn’t last me at all. How many seconds did you use wet sanding for? And can you use it twice if it didn't take the scratch out and check how much clear coat you have left? Or? Thanks so much for the content. Great job OQ 💪🏼

  • @OQDetailing
    @OQDetailing7 күн бұрын

    Great questions, You wanna wet sand until you see white chalky looking residue coming off from the lubricant liquid then you wipe up the liquid and check your work; glide your hand and see if you can still feel the scratch, if not then proceed to next step, if you do then do another short round of wet sanding. It may seem scary but if you use the correct grit you don’t have much to worry about, wet sanding can be safer than even polishers in many cases. However if it means your peace of mind then yes you can check after every pass and see how much clear coat you have left using the paint reader and you will realize it didn’t remove almost anything 👍🏻

    Do you apply beadmaker before doing paint gloss? I want to use beadmaker since I love the gloss and I know customers will love it, and after 20 mins, I will apply paint gloss to maintain it’s gloss by having less dust. What do you think?

  • @OQDetailing
    @OQDetailing8 күн бұрын

    Yes you want to apply beadmaker first, and then go over it with the paint gloss for the final wipe before presenting the car to the client. However everything is case by case, some people have a lot of problems with beadmaker attracting dust so paint gloss is very helpful for that, however I never noticed and issue when I used it so you dont HAVE TO use paint gloss if you dont have a problem with dusting etc

  • @Marx_xu
    @Marx_xu8 күн бұрын

    @@OQDetailing Thanks! Dusting was never an issue for me, but as a detailer, I wanna play safe and ensure that my customers will definitely love the gloss even after days. So i guess, I will consider adding paint gloss as a final touch, not only it will give that anti static but it will also give an extra layer of protection which will be very beneficial.

  • @OQDetailing
    @OQDetailing8 күн бұрын

    @@Marx_xu Yea sounds like a good plan, I like using it afterwards for final touch to remove the water leaking from the mirror caps and any tiny dust that fell on the car after applying the sealant etc so there are various benefits, just know that you dont HAVE TO for example if you are running short on time, run out of product, etc the main point is inspect and see if it needs it. Nevertheless its always beneficial to do the final touch up but I also like being very transparent and correct context
