Hell yeah sounds wicked! How the heck do you get it to pass DOT inspections? I’m planning on picking up an old pre aero ford ltl9000 and want to put an x15 in it. Thinking I can circumvent all that emissions BS because it’s a truck from mid 80’s to early 90’s

What’s the part # for that exhaust manifold? Also what’s the purpose of running that line from compressor to intake ?

1048008 and the line to the compressor is the air intake for the compressor

Now in the past have driven many of these ,not with a Ecm delete ,But I would Jump them with extra power to confused the ecm like a wire on low power side of panel lights, & this is the type of Running truck all Real Truck Drivers should have,

I don’t get why you’d delete the VGT turbo. It helps the turbo spool faster, reduces boost lag, & more efficient. If ur trying to make it simpler then ok, but still kinda pointless. It’s a 200k truck why not just keep the VGT.

Has the novelty of the sound wore off yet? 😂. I must be getting to old to listen to that all day. Trouble with deleting the VGT is the jake is all noise . You don’t hardly feel the brake till the VGT closes up and starts feeding boost. Sure does sound sweet though!

Dude, that's not a VGT delete, it's a DPR delete VGT is the little electronic controller on the turbocharger, it stands for Variable Geometry Turbocharger

Yes, and the Variable Geometry Turbocharger has been removed and replaced with a Fixed Geometry Turbocharger. Along with the DPF and EGR.

Just wondering how your turbo has been working out since you took out VGT? I had a 1702 BW but it didnt last hauling Super Bs with 600hp.

The BW 1702 didn't last on mine either. I'm running a 1710 with a 78mm compressor now and a 1.32 AR waste gated exhaust housing I got from Momentum Worx. Keeps the boost between 30-35psi. Working well so far. Without the wastegate it would boost over 40psi. Too much in my opinion.

@@peterbiltlogger1189 I switched to a 1710 as well. Was just looking to grab another at Engine Parts Canada in Lloyd and theyre only selling them with the 270 bearing. I was looking for the 360 bearing and can only find em in the US. And they went way up in price too
