Interesting, but the idea that houseplants, because they were propagated in greenhouses for generations, would not be able to live anywhere but inside is absurd. Given the conditions outside are what they need to thrive, they would be fine. Ask any real gardener what happens to their houseplants when they bring them outside for the summer.

It’s surprising that facts like this aren’t being fixed in the school system for our upbringing right?!?! Unless they knew the things we were learning weren’t truly the extent of the laws of this world and our body, therefore preventing us from ever learning about the proper knowledge to utilize our body and mind to the best of its ability. Interesting…

Literally, democracy was dead in 2001. I draw that line because it was the first election I could vote in. Gore won, Shrub became president and I was thrust into a war on terrisom. Not a country, just an idea. USAF veteran, not playing.1998-2002, I WAS THERE. Every election is predictable because I actually know voters. Trump will win from 6ft under. This is a delayed inaguration.

It's kinda weird how he's spent his life asking these deep questions, and yet coming to the end he feels this overwhelming sense that he's missing something, that life is somehow more significant, yet his conclusion is to ignore that and tell himself that it's a silly question. I'm a Christian, and believe in an afterlife, and I find it sad that people self-deceive enough to belittle these deep questions about life that we all ask. If there's no point, why does everyone, at some time or another, believe there is. Why do we allow ourselves to experience joy and sadness and interest and excitement if none of it means anything at all? Just seems useless to me to accept that nothing has meaning. Either everything matters, or nothing does, and I prefer the former. EDIT: I watched on, and how he described his wife's absence as a presence was fascinating. If you believe that after death there is only nothingness, similarly when you've lost someone that is just an absence too. How could an absence feel 'full' in any sense, unless it was significant in some deeper way? I say his relationship with his dear wife WAS significant on some deeper level. I have no evidence of that, but there it is. It seems reasonable to me.

Yazidi Girls: Prisoners of ISIS (Reber Dosky, 2017) is a documentary, drama, biography and mystery film. In the province of Sinjar Binnen, Iraqi Kurdistan, three young Yazidi women who were prisoners of ISIS - Islamic State of Iraq report and share their stories for the first time with the world. Documentary presented at the Atlantic Festival 2022, stories about the barbarity of the actions of Islamic fundamentalists, members of ISIS, are part of the proof that the period of terror devastates cities in Iraq and surrounding areas. The desire to get their lives back, justice and revenge are evident in their visions, as their desires are to turn the page and move forward. Hugs.

I think it's one thing if you have very limited friends list and you're just sharing images and memories of your kids that bring you joy. It's another to milk them for content and monetize it. Then I think it's much more about the parent than about the kid.

You're coming into this world with knowing nothing about it and asking "-what the hell am I doing here?" and probably you'll never know. Life is a misery and there is no point about anything at all. Even for the people who spent their lives thinking and questioning this and it will never end, people will always ask and will never know. The thing we miss is we should be dead already when we compare our era with earlier ages. The maximum age of living was 30 years old for a long time in Human history. If you look at this perspective, death becomes a thing that you've already had. Either because of a disease or a war. I'm at my 37 now and now questioning that I'm living for an extra 7 years compared to the man who lived in the whole human history. And what I'm doing is just playing games and working at nine to five job to stay alive. There is no point about living but also there is everything about living. I see my life as a cinema that's not ended yet and I want to see how the story goes. I'm living because I'm curious about the rest of the scenerio of my life not because afraiding of death or to enjoy.

THE TRUTH IS NOBODY KNOWS HOW EACH DEFENDER DIED. CROCKETT COULD HAVE BEEN SHOT, OR STABBED, OR CLUBBED TO DEATH. MAYBE HE GOT SHOT WITH A CANNON. THERE WERE NO EYEWITNESS TO HIS DEMISE. NONE OF THE MEXICANS KNEW WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE OR WHAT HE WORE. HE MAY HAVE BEEN SEVERELY INJURED IF CAPTURED. BELIEVE WHAT MAKES YOU SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT. 😊

Without watching the video my answer is: No internet, frozen TV dinners & fast-food convenience was really just starting to boom so it wasn't fully established yet. Inflation definitely has something to do with it. The cost of living was cheaper (Yes Ik it's all relative, but there is no denying back then things were more accessible.) I also think how people were raised has changed. I feel like more parents probably made more home cooked meals & weren't going out as much. It was very "Old fashioned" back then. The husband worked 9-5 & provided while the wife COOKED, cleaned & maintained the household. I think life back then was just more active. People didn't have these crazy cellphones with all these apps to distract them. They went out & did things. They made the most of their lives. No such thing as Uber Eats or Door Dash. If you wanted food, you had to go out & work for it. I think the school system has some responsibility as well to make sure kids are getting the most out of their physical education. Schools nowadays are very lax. If you don't feel like participating (At least where I went to high school) You just walk laps. I am starting to ramble. I'm done, but more a less all that^
