Very well explained! Thank you!
I dont understand why this exists with the TC versions. Numerous people have claimed its “better” but I fail to see how
After a long hiatus, tried to mix with this and a few other newer plugins that have transformer emulation. Plugs have come so far! Not much difference to hardware anymore. It's also fast to mix with this plugin. Just a few bands you can boost or cut, and it sounds good. So damn easy to make stuff sound good and separated in the midrange. That transformer sound modern plugs give is like a really expensive sounding finishing touch. Almost like passing audio through hardware. Lindell, Kiive and Pulsar. These guys know their stuff! Highly recommended.
I've been demoing this and I'm not seeing the hype. It's a very nice reverb and if you've been thirsting for the 6000 sound, you'll probably love it. But I think I still prefer Seventh Heaven, Pro-R and others over this one. Loyalty price is just too expensive at $129 (regardless of how expensive the hardware units are), can't justify it
Is plugin really new or a new revision?
Gain match is phenomenal
Crashes in windows 10 all the time 👍
Daaang...Thank you for listening to our requests 🤘🏻😍🔥 made me much more sure for purchasing this plugin
Love this. Still enjoying it a few weeks after.
Thanks so much, Mike!
If you want deep expertise simply read the comment section. Some of the most advanced engineers spitting the only truth. I hope they get one millioooon dollars for their effort and deep knowledge. Jokes aside, the plugin sounds really good
That's why u guys can't learn anything @RJ1J no active listening skills no patience! SMH all u have to do is use 1.5 speed up u learn something and it dont take up to much time
Note presumably means sync'd to host
Guys omg i made a video on this too. I exposed this plugin so bad. Its terrible.
Very destructive phase crossovers and the sales rep on gearspace lied about it and said it was linear phase
👀
Love me some Mixing with Michael!
Downloaded the trial when it first came out, did my first master with it and i was blown away by its clarity and its ability to reach a loud master without starting to hear some nasty distortion, i used to add a hard clipper + triode/pentode tube saturation + again a soft clipper then a limiter to reach around -10LUFS with the limiter doing about 3db of GR, with this Kraftur i just added it by itself followed by a limiter that barely does 1,5db of GR and reached -8LUFS with ease (still punchy and clear) really good addition
Agreed, tried it first day when out and had to buy it
Sounds muddy and flabby to me
not
75% talking, 25% demo of the sounds. I love your channel, I think the reason it hasn't grown very much, over the nearly 10 years I've been watching, is you talk so much that people just switch off from frustration and therefore won't subscribe. Also, you seem to ignore electronic music, who make up a huge percentage of people who were on KZread. Old jazz musicians in their 50s are not browsing KZread. Not many at least. You need to start with the sound of the plug-in, do some audio demos to get people interested. Then going to a very quick overview of the features.
You talk too much.
Bet you don’t like Dan Worall either.
People have zero attention span these days. Sigh.
I love Mike and have enjoyed my sub.
If you want to hear how it sounds, download the bloody demo and try for yourself. Stop being a lazy piece of crap and move that ass to the Relab website and test on your own material.
Looking forward to a shootout against Cinematic Rooms
>>>>GO AND BUY TC ELECTRONICS VSS3/VSS4<<<< - WE DON'T NEED THESE STUPID CLONES!!!!
It's way better than TC VSS3/4
This is VSS6.1, not the same
@@nem4822 It's not the same, because it sounds 95 times better.
@@gffg387 theres also that
Why? So TC can discontinue it like they did PowerCore? No thanks. It's also cheaper than VSS4.
Is this supposed to be better than TC Electronic's own port of the System 6000 reverbs?
Yes. It's supposed to kick the butt and piss on the body of TC own 6000 reverb.
@@gffg387Well, that was a very forward answer.
I tried the demo and gave up on it after 2 days. It does nothing that I either need or can't already do with already existing plugins.
Sound will have the same qualities forever as time goes on. We have every tool already to carve out any type of sound we want. Its not like we will invent something and sound will have a 4th dimension we never heard before.
I use sonnox inflator to add this type of loudness in mastering but I wish I had control of the bands in the split band mode. I demoed this and the cleanup of the intermodulation distortion is incredible on this plugin vs inflator. Please let me know what other plugins does that cause I have my hand on the trigger but would love not to waste money!
Plugins seem to have reached a point where developers are desperate to code something they can sell as an emperor's new robe. Not to mention in their haste to obfuscate code, errors are left in the release and with so much protection the load times, memory use, and processing overhead is absurd.
Yeah, but the great thing is: YOU decide if you want to buy it or not 👍
And all they have to show for it are two incredibly innovative and useful plugins.
Thanks, I didn't know how this plugin works
Fiiiiirst 😁
Second!
third!
Sounds pretty good I’ll have to check this out

Hi Mike - I'd like to submit 2 new plugins for you to check out. I'm sending you an email - it'd be great if you could get back to me. Thanks!
Very helpful.
HI can you make a review of the Fabfilter reverb, because it has no early reflections.
THANKKKKK GOD FOR FINDING THIS CHANNEL, WHAAAATTTTT
Very good. I'll have to remember this.
Is there a Waves Plug-in equivalent to this?
For me those few subtle analog switches were noticeable as either maintaining or pulling away the focus from the vocals. Ch 2, Analog B , Line Amp off and Mod1 all tended to keep the track focused on the vocals and to hold it together overall, whereas the alternative options tended to give more detail and depth to the song but also tended to slightly disintegrate it, making my ears/brain work more to hold the music together.
Try working the BIAS in the negative area with MOD2.
@@ZiadSidawi Thanks for the tip
I like it but I’m not crazy about it I do feel like it adds a certain type of aesthetic to a certain type of music … def a tool, just not an all purpose tool imo
Nice video Mike!
Greetings. Can you please do a video where by you tracking vocals using the CLA mixhub, from mic to interface then CLA mixhub.
Mike, you need to update the plugins, you have the 1st versions
4th best plugin of the MWM console shootout ❤
Great overview and a reeeally good new song, please keep it for future demonstrations!
The Great Mike, Explains everything so Detailed that no one does🤩🤌🏻I love how you describe everything in a mix engineer's technical and artistic views. Soundtheory has recently released a new Plugin called (KRAFTUR). I'm anxiously waiting for you to review it 🤘🏻
From the manual, pages 4-5: When the default STEP option is engaged, P450 channels the gritty, aggressive vibe of the analog gear that served as inspiration. When the SMOOTH option is enabled, distortion and saturation are lessened.
I've so impressed with this, especially the sidecar. Using it on my final mix buss and like you say it's tone shaping abilities is superb. 😎
Absolutely LOVE this plugin. It’s so easy to get your mix where you want it with this thing. Super expensive. Super quality.
Got mine for free... o money spent.
The Pricee iss such a Jokee betta buy sum gewd Hardwaree insteed.
Some Kush Audio plugins have 2 needles in the VU meter as well. It's an AWESOME feature, I wish more would do it!
Oh yeah you're right! Kush audio does have it
@@AVDRE Ya, not all of them unfortunately but many!
Nice one!
was waiting for this one. Nice!
