can I have a single option in a slicer to hide/show multiple columns ? for eg. a single slicer option say 'Var' and it show/hides 'Var % TY vs LY' and 'Var TY vs LY' at the same time ?
This was sooo helpful!
Great video! I was wondering if there is a way to hide columns that are null. Thanks
thanks. The best explanation. Fully understand CALCULATE, ALL, ALLEXCEPT, FILTER and REMOVEFILTER functions now.
Glad it helped!
thank you
Great tutorial, can we have multiple tabs using Power BI Report Builder ?
Have been searching for a video like this for couple of days, you have a very simple yet effective style of teaching.
Love the channel!!! Thanks a lot!!
Great Video ,Thanks for information .I have one query regarding shape maps ,where we can selectively fill color for eg (different districts of state ) . Let us consider one country which has multiple States ,when we hover our mouse pointer ,tooltips option helps us and gives various information like name of state ,population etc as per the column name entered in tooltips but is there a way that we can get at least some information (eg name ) for every state displayed automatically without us hovering over the pointer to get information . Please let me know if something could be done in this case ,and if i am able to explain properly .
I am a licensed CPA, and i switched to power BI from Google Data Studio. My senior Manager was bugging me about using power BI. I am not a fan of Power Bi due to limited controls and UI, as google data studio provide user friendly interface and easy to add visuals and filtering and drill downs. So i gave it a try and was stuck at this for a week. and By God, her video made me feel like a baby. like how a fresh intern feels after learning from seniors. Just one simple click and voila. Also I Think, instead of paying hundreds of dollars to learn power Bi i think if, just if people watch your videos with consistence they can learn more and save more.
Seriously the best explanation of this topic I've found anywhere-- including paid courses. I can say, finally, I get it. Thanks so much Isabella!

Great! Thank you for taking time and really going into the code. You gained a subscriber!
Welcome!
Hi Data is not loading when it's too large, it's just showing loading. Can you suggest something for this?"
yes, there is a 10000 row limit.... One option is to explore Power BI
Check out this video.... kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4Z31ZWHnq2pmJc.html.
Dropdown layout isn't available and I'm using the latest version of PBI desktop. The only styles I see are 'cards' and 'table'. The data source is a dataverse table and the column type is single line of text.
i love uuuuuuu great yt channel actually
thank you :)
Awesome teaching style. totally got it. Thanx for such a wonderful explanation.
another great explanation of the topic, greetings from Mexico
I have been searching for something similar and this works really well. The explanation is just precise and perfect. Thank you for making our life easier :)
Glad it helped!
Very well explained, greetings from Mexico.
Thanks for watching!
Hi,thanks for the video, I follow you from Mexico.

Love your videos, especially the PowerBi. I am based in Adelaide and my employer is looking for a new CFO, it would be a dream to have someone like you onboard 🤩
Aw - thank you !!
Thanks. I was watching some old instruction but when it changed the slicer settings I was confused and Power BI instruction didn't help either
How can we do continuous analysis in key influencer. What kind of dataset does it expects. Since I have kind of cost data, where for each product I have costs associated. Now I want to find why the cost is increasing or decreasing. But it shows me no influencers found.
excellent way to teaching..... 🤟Excellent way
Thank you! 😃

Hai isabella, tq for your video.. just want to ask, do you have any video on finance lease calculation example in power bi
Hello... thanks for taking the time to leave some comments. I don't currently have a video on finance lease calculation. What type of calculation are you thinking of developing in PBI?
I am so happy got respond from you.. tqvm. I.m thinking of developing finance lease ammortization shcedule in power bi. Currently im struggle to calculate monthly finance lease liabilty for all my lease asset
Thank you so much for the informative video..I have one question please, I have a chart showing percentages of what people from different areas(cities)prefer to do in weekends, let's say 23% prefer to read books , but this percentage covers the whole country (different cities), how to show from that chart where are people who prefer to read with percentage/city? Thanks in advance
Best to create measures for that.
@LighthouseAnalytix How to do that? Could you explain please?
great way!
Thank you !!
How to sync two separate columns of bridge tables? For slicer purpose
sorry not sure what you meant
I want to sync slicers, which columns belong to two bridge tables(bridge tables are common merge tables for main tables) separately with different values but relative to the main table.
Thanks! your explanation on selective visual helps to solve my long pending design.
You're very welcome!
Wonderful video mam, I wish you live 200+ years. Thank you. God bless!! ❤
Aw....So nice of you
Thanks for the help. This is what I was looking on KZread and your video helped. Keep creating good content.
Thanks, will do!
Hi, I did not understand why we put everything in the big textbox, to begin with. I don't see a purpose to that. Can someone explain?
thats simply perfect! thank you very much
Awesome - glad hat it works for you
Is there a way to do something similar but with multi-select rather than single select?
hm... not sure yet. but thanks for giving me something to think about.
I don't get option
hm.. I wonder why
The visual "Filter by List" now requires a license for full functionality, otherwise it only allows maximum 20 values. Is there a workaround for this?
oh no... I'm not sure yet.
Yeah, we recently noticed it (the DevScope visual) stopped working in our embedded reports; can't even do 20 values as embedded no longer supported. I emailed the vendor - they may offer an older version that doesn't have these limitations, but without Support. Another option: there is a "Mass Filter" vlsual that seems to work the same and without limitations. p.s. Thanks for video!!
Very well explained. Very useful video. Thank you!
You are welcome!
Interesting, all of this to avoid using a calculated column.
yes - where possible, Measures are preferrable to creating calculated column in Power BI.
This helps me a lot. That is the best explanation across the youtube I watched. Thank you so much.
Glad it was helpful!
BEST explanation of calculate ever.
Aw... thank you !!! You make me very happy reading this ... this morning.
