In BC the parent is expected to be fair, they can’t play favourites (an exception would be abhorrent behaviour from one child and wound up in jail for it for example).

My Narcissistic brother is the Trustee of my (Narcissistic) mother (she's 85). Nearly 20 years ago my MomSter decided my inheritance deemed necessary that i be "SPECIAL NEEDS" & my sibling will bc my trustee when (if) Mum passes.
Also to top it off he never paid the mortgage in 5 years twice he had to save it from getting repoed then he sold it and in the will it states that I get half of the profit well I got screwed out of pretty much all of it because he patted the books on a half-assed renovation and did not follow through with the will and only gave me $5,000 out of a $62,000 profit and really it should have been more of a profit if he would have been paying the mortgage for the 5 years I have been deathly afraid of my brother for years and not thinking he would go to this length thinking I would get something and he also wrote up a letter because I have sold a few things in the house and because I sold those few things he wanted to take my portion of the trust in this letter which is illegal because he did not distribute the will properly and he was going against what the will wanted and the will to top it off was made 5 days before my mother died he carried her in the lawyer's office and then the next day he threw her in hospice and she died 3 days later I need help any lawyers out there who can practice in South Dakota who can go after him civilly who can go after him with a trust litigation I need help please someone help

See this is the problem with all these videos that I'm seeing about inheritance theft I'm in a situation where I am half owner of two trust I have never received any paperwork any finances anything in the past 10 years My brother took all the belongs in the house that were worth about a half a million dollars My mother had a policy and she had in case of a fire for her belongings at least 400,000 of it was for the belongings he went into the house did not consult me got rid of everything and told me basically he did what he did and he didn't have to consult me which he did have to consult me because all of the belongings were in the trust also because of the trust he did not have to file probate so none of these videos talk about probate this is a huge problem you talk about it's a criminal act to steal but at the end of the day do you know in 20 years in Sioux falls South Dakota not one person has been prosecuted for stealing from their siblings it's only about an attorney or whoever else somebody who's in power who gets prosecuted but when it comes to a brother and a sister the state's attorney will not prosecute this needs to be exposed on a grand level and if any lawyer would like to reach out to me to help I would greatly appreciate it because at the end of the day he has assets his wife was co-executor so they did not have to get an administrator My mother named his wife as co-executor I filed charges over a year and 3 months ago it got to the state's attorney and she dropped them she said that it's not against the law A half a million dollar state or more do you know the pain and suffering I went through especially my mother designated all of her belongings to me in a letter she wrote to me because I was in prison so if anyone would like to help would like to expose the system of none of these people getting prosecuted if their brother and sister or family members if I would have been the one in charge I would have went to jail because my brother would have went after me and said I stole but I was protected at that time from having any sort of power over her estate because my brother would have done it to me and I would have went to jail but it's kind of funny how nobody else goes to jail a lawyer in Sioux falls said in 20 years not one person has been prosecuted for stealing from an estate this is asinine this is corruption I need Justice I need to trust litigation lawyer I need a civil lawyer and I will file charges again and through the insurance company is there a way to get the records of what my mother had in the insurance policy listed as the personal asset because my brother never took inventory but there was a lot of antiques there My whole grandparents house was there stuff from Czechoslovakia all kinds of things were in that house and when I got out of prison and I gave him the letter for my mother he looked at it threw it on the table and said I'm not going to acknowledge it and then Rachel his wife who is a compliance officer for a bank right now looked at it and just shook her head and she knew that he was doing me wrong so I need Justice I need help if there's any lawyers out there who can help me please reach out for the sake of all these people who go through this and nothing is done but if somebody goes and steals something from Walmart the prosecutor's more than willing to prosecute or somebody gets caught with ingestion in their system the prosecutor will prosecute please help me whoever reads this and can help Thank you

As someone who is basically viewed as "Doris" by my older sister in a situation not nearly as extreme or dire as this specific analogy, I can definitely object to categorizing Doris's siblings as "innocent" in this context. Anyone who willingly allows a sybling to solely bear the burden of caring for their aging (or elderly) parent(s) deserves to receive little or nothing from the estate... However, in my situation, after my Dad passed away, II pushed my Mom to put everything (farm, farmland et al) in a non-revocable trust that I manage for the benefit of her, that grandchildren and future generations will inherent. My sister (who is already a millionaire) won't even speak to me because she is so pissed that she's not going to be receiving half the proceeds of an estate auction upon our mother's passing.
