Hi! We are Katerina & Maria and this is our KZread Travel Channel!
We love to travel more than anything else. The thrill of visiting someplace new or the warmth of going back to a beloved land makes us feel alive and unconditionally happy. But we love to travel first and foremost because we come closer to other cultures and people this way. We learn history through travel. Ultimately, we gain a deep understanding of how societies are forged. This is how travel becomes our almighty weapon against prejudice and discrimination.
We are genuinely passionate about travelling responsibly. We are advocates of supporting local economies and communities, speaking up about animal abuse and discovering off-the-beaten-path destinations. Since you are following us on our quest to always leave a place better than we found it, we feel we’re in this together. With each and every one of you. So, what do you say? Shall we make this world a better place while roaming around its charms?

Your camera work is exceptional. Which camera have you used and what editing software?
Do you think a full week is too long to spend in Prague?
Loved your video. Thanks again for fantastic insights. 🙏
Pro tip: authentic lángos is either plain or with sour cream and cheese (garlic being an option in both cases) - other toppings only exist in the touristy places and seem really weird to us. Same goes for the chimney cake filled with ice cream. Chimney cake is only good when it's freshly baked and still hot!
Thanks for another nice and informative video. I am wondering - Do you think Tenerife or Gran Canaria offers more interesting and varied nature/forest landscape for hikes and best beaches? Would you recommend Tenerife or Gran Canaria to move to for living? I'm having a hard time deciding. If it's not too much, I'm also curious if the temperature differences between the north and south are so big that it's cold in the north in winter, or can you still wear a t-shirt etc? Thank you and apologies for the long question!
what's the name of the tour company, do you have their website...Thank You...Great video
Great video once again girls! ❤❤
Thanks so much Eleni mas 🥰😍
It is interesting. However the earlier historical invasions of the Arab Muslims who occupied Lisbon and settled there are not evidently mentioned neither any architectural and cultural reminiscent related to that islam religion.
Thanks for the feedback. We tried to keep the video as short as possible and a full history overview would be the exact opposite.
@@ItsAllTripToMe Sure, I understand. However it would be nice to know if now there is a Mosque in Alfama the oldest Arabic Muslim Quarter of 8th century ? Thanks
Watch out at the main square where all trams come as I was roughed up by 3 assailants and robbed whilst waiting for tram to Belem....would not go back scruffy old and dirty place.....
We're very sorry you had this experience. Pickpockets are a risk everywhere, especially crowded places (like tram stops) and, sadly, we need to be extra vigilant sometimes. But this doesn't take away any of Lisbon's worth as a destination. We do hope you go back and make better memories 🙂
orbanistan is an annoying eu member. meant to be democratic acting like a child with an corrupt leader and may an semi friend of putler. shame on this country and its pilitical path. may they built an memorial for there not existing support of ukraine. austrian btw.
Sadly, several EU countries tread on dark paths lately but travel has always been a force of light and change and, hopefully, actual democracy will shine throughout Europe again. But this won't happen by isolating certain destinations. As travellers, we still need to support the people 🙂
It's a great help to get an overall idea about visiting in Vienna. Thank you!😍
Thanks so much, we're glad you found our video helpful!
Fantantastic and informative commentary, really enjoy your videos. Would really like a guided tour with you
Thank you so much for your kind comment!

If we just walk around the palace, do we have access to the terraces? Specifically with kids, it will be hard to wait until to get inside
Hi there, thanks for your comment! If you buy tickets for the Pena Park only, you have access to the entire park and the outside terraces/wall walk around the palace. If you buy the Park & Palace ones, you get all this plus a circuit through the interior of the palace. So, if you don't want/can't wait to get inside the palace but you want to wander around the terraces, buy the Park only tickets. Hope we helped 🙂
Thank you so much 😊
@@salmael8684 Always here to help 😊
Why can't book Grand Tour tickets for Schonbrunn Palace
Not sure we understand the question, sorry 🤔
Another excellent video. I have visited Quinta da Regaleira before, I remember getting lost in both the gardens and the interior, they were wonderfully fairytale like.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Makis 🩵 Quinta da Regaleira is a dreamy place indeed!
This is one of the best researched video guides about Czech Republic that I have seen! Well done!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We did put a lot of love in this video and it's great to see that our work is appreciated 😊
the perfect itineary for the sheep who do everything everyone else does. walk away from the centre walk to the real castle, not the tourist one, go to great pivovars , dont eat tradenik crap, basically dont buy anything in the centre as its all for tourists. and over priced.
For starters, sheep are beautiful and innocent animals but, obviously, you're using the metaphor in a rather unflattering way. Secondly, there's nothing wrong with checking out the things that make a city famous (like Charles Bridge for example), especially if you're going somewhere for the first time or very few days. We always encourage our audience to look past the surface, but this doesn't mean walking away from the popular stuff. It's like going to Athens and not visiting the Acropolis. Would/should anyone do this?
Vienna resident here: Visiting Prater is a good tip! Just one thing, though - Prater is the name for the whole extensive big green park area, which is as important for Vienna and its citizens as Central Park is for NYC. Prater used to be an imperial hunting ground, it was opened to the public in 1776 and has remained open since then. The amusement part is just a small portion of it. Vienna boasts many wonderful, extensive green spaces, like Stadtpark right on the Ring. As a tourist, you could also consider going to Donaupark (a short walk from U1 stop Alte Donau) and visiting the Donauturm, with a revolving restaurant at the top that offers the best view of Vienna and its surroundings, if the weather is good.
Thanks for your feedback! We know the Prater is a lot more than just the amusement park but focused on the latter as this is a video addressed to first-time visitors who most probably won't have enough time to roam around the rest of the park. We also wanted to visit Donaupark but saved it for next time as we didn't have enough time. Vienna is a city to visit again and again after all 😉
Fantastic video. Thank you

Where can I see guimaraes embroidery? Thank you.
You can see and buy Guimaraes embroidery in shops around the town. I'm afraid we can't recommend any specific place as we didn't have enough time to delve into this.

I love Lisbon! I Love Portugal! A city that's easy to maneuver. If you dont like public transportation i i used uber and its not that expensive. We did day trip to Sintra and Cabo de Roca and cascais! I want to go back! So many thungs to see!
We love Lisbon and Portugal too! Our Sintra KZread video will go live soon so watch this space!
Having just returned from Lisbon this is a wonderful summary and only makes me want to return!
Thanks so much for your kind comment 😊 It's always a great idea to go back to Lisbon for more 😊
Uns hat Karlsbad sehr gut gefallen. Alles war zu Fuß zu erreichen. Im September sind wir in Marienbad.
Thank you for your comment! We loved how walkable Karlovy Vary was too! Enjoy Marienbad!
you left out vorosmarthy ter , hosok tere , inside the o pera house , , inside st istvan basilica, vigado etc.
Thanks for your comment. We can't wait to go back to Budapest to make a new video about the least-known places to visit in the city.
This is a wonderful itinerary! Heading to Rome this summer and will use this. Thank you!
Thanks so much for your lovely comment! We're sure you'll love Rome!
Thanks for this beautifully done and informative video. I have subscribed to your channel as we just moved to Europe and are planning lots of trips.
We're very glad you enjoyed our Santorini video. Thanks for your support and welcome to Europe 🙂
I loved the small art deco building there that has art exhibitions. The building itself is art.
Aveiro has an artistic flair indeed 🙂
The bad pronunciation of the city's name annoys me. Correct Czech not "Libereč" but "Liberetz"
Hey, thanks for your comment. Well, we're not Czech and, sadly, we don't speak Czech either. But we always do our best to show the charms of every destination we're visiting even if they're a bit mispronounced at times. And this is why it makes us sad that from this beautiful video about a wonderful place like Liberec you only kept the way the name is pronounced 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Thank you. Where is Saramago house he was a famous writer.
"Promosm" 🌈
Very useful and informative video! Thank you very much for putting it together
Thank you very much for your kind comment and for appreciating our work 🙂
Hello just wanna ask how to get to major attractions? By walking or by public transpo?
Hey there! It depends where you're staying. If you choose a central hotel, you can walk to many of the best Vienna attractions and only use public transport for the ones that are a bit farther like the Schönbrunn Palace. For a list of the best places to stay in Vienna, you can read the thorough guide we've published on our website. The link is in the description of this video 🙂
