@@ItsAllTripToMe I'm hoping to go in the summer and if I do I might use one of your links to a guided tour that I wanted to do and didn't yet (been there only once in 2019 and had done a great early morning tour to the Vatican but wanted to get some guided tour about the basilica). I'm going to be flying to Israel and we were actually thinking to do a few days in Greece, if we do I'll watch your other videos 🙂

Thanks so much for watching! As for the skip-the-line tickets, we can't say for sure as the rules change all the time, depending on how busy the sites can get. You should double-check with the official ticket vendors to be 100% certain :)

I looked at the suggested VIP Colosseum tour and was unable to request any date. Do you know if there is certain time frame that reservations should be done?

I’m going in december with my 3 daughters for the second time Once in 2000 I was with my own mom in Rome and it stole our heart for the rest of our lives Sadly she past away

Informative and well shot, but "off the beaten track" generally means things that don't have queues :P Would you happen to have any tips for more contemporary things in the city? I'm thinking beautiful modern architecture; great event spaces/music venues, and things like that.

Hey, thanks for your comment! In this video, we made sure we included both Rome's must-sees but also some off-the-beaten-path spots that you don't have to queue to enjoy. Right now, we don't have any specific recommendations for the modern side of Rome but we plan to spend more time in the Italian capital in the future and we'll definitely check out more contemporary things to do in the city then!

Great holiday. Maybe 4 days isn't enough, especially if you're not into ticking things off the bucket and living the place instead. Would you have any suggestions for a return traveller who may have seen la citta` eterna once or twice?

We agree, we're all about slow travel ourselves but we do understand that some people don't have as many vacation days as they'd like and we try to help those people make the most of their time with these itineraries. As return travellers to Rome ourselves, we always find something new to fascinate us in this city of wonders, no matter how many times we visited. Rome has no shortage of attractions and amazing places to eat/drink/hang out for the return traveller. Have you visited Domus Aurea or the Appian Way catacombs yet? Maybe you should add them to your list for your next trip to Rome 😉

Rome is such a wonderful place! What's your favorite place to eat there? and have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.

Suggestion for improvement- I felt the background music to start to become irritating/disturbing afer 3-4mins into the video...If it can be turned down a little it would be helpful. Video is informative though and appreciate your time & efforts in putting it together.

Hi there! Yes, everything is in the city centre. That said, Rome is a big city. It all depends on how much of a walker you are. You can definitely go everywhere on foot, but sometimes you may want to catch a bus to save some time or energy :) Thanks for watching!

To be honest you can not jump the queue going to the Vatican by booking a guided tour, the queue you will see outside is to pass security !

Hey Sahar, we've been to Rome many times and never felt unsafe. As far as hotels go, we would advise against staying in the Termini area as it can get a bit sketchy at night. For more details about where to stay in Rome, feel free to click our website link in the description 🙂

We're sorry you feel this way. It's true that we're not Italian and we may have missed a couple of things that only true Romans would know. However, we've been to Rome many times and we know it pretty well, considering that we don't live there. Therefore, this itinerary is perfect for those who plan to visit Rome on a short vacation. Most people visit Rome for 3 or 4 days and this is the audience this video is addressed to. For these people, this might as well be the only itinerary they need to be inspired and get help to plan their 4-day trip. It would take a lifetime and even more to see literally everything in Rome after all.

What a shape that she does not pronounce things better. I could not get much of what she said.
