My 10 years old gtx 970 was hitting 82 degrees while gaming constantly throttling. After doing this it's back to 68 degrees. The termal paste on it was completely dry and very little. Used lighter fluid to clean it off. Applied a lot more than recommended but having no problems atm.

Am I missing something? I was disappointed with this system. The bass is extremely disappointing. The low ohms aren't there. Maybe i ordered a malfunctioning system from Amazon . Is it me, or is there something wrong with my stereo

Based on the under side of the keys, that keyboard will be in shambles if you press anything harder then very gracefully. Thanks for showing under the key to help me make a decision that I approve of. Good shit

TRICK: To install the PSU mask, mout the mask first on your PSU unity, and THEN push all into the case and screw everything to the case. ;9

Yes my "PC case can do this" I bought the same case many years ago, still have it and use it every day, it has seen many different CPU's from a i7-5930K to a i9-9900k to currently i7-13600k All with Dark Rock 4 Pro and a Silent loop 2. Great case good quality and keeps my system nice and cool. PS. I did drill 36 holes in the top panel.

Another grate tip: for anyone doining this without a magnetic screwdriver if you have a magnetic object or magnet you can align the magnetic polarity of the screwdriver by rubbing it upward this works for all metal object cuz your changing there magnetic pull 😊

Its crazy that a 200$ case is now considered midrange. And its even missing a ton of drive bays, it has 5 upper slots but only 1 bay, so that would be more $ spent, meanwhile my previous Corsair case had all drive bays filled and cost like 80$. Plus they were built as removable trays, much better than in this case...

Nice video, I'm now considering this case for my next build. I'm looking to build my wife a sffpc basically for work (MS office, Internet, nothing gaming) and am looking at a MB (Asus z790) and CPU (14900k) with 64 or 96gb ram and want it to handle 2 4k monitor w/out a GPU. All air-cooled with the Noctua NH-L12S. Building this all inside the Fractal Design Ridge case. What do you think of this (pro/con) and what case, CPU and MB would you recommend? Thank you.

Baking a GPU in an oven? How about what happened to the Cap's , the SMD's etc. ? No insults intended - however a Heat Gun Station is the way to go on all SMT devices. They're not inexpensive though. Certainly this can be accomplished with a 20 watt max. Soldering iron. Clean up the flux. Aside from all I've committed on - don't use paper towels! Otherwise good job on pulling the GPU apart.

I think that in the end we all look for excuses to justify such robberies, but thinking coldly, it is absurd what we pay for this.

This video doesnt do justice to the rgb, i have one of those and the rgb is a lot less distracting, being a soft but decently bright light. The camera the video was recorded on is not the best and it looks like you are gonna have an epilepsy attack from it

thank you very much for this video!! so much great info to help me prepare for my build. I have seen some others sort of 'custom mount' their 360 AIO Cooler to act as exhaust on the top of the case(where you had put your exhaust fans)...then also using the side mount(where you put your 240AIO) to put 3 intake fans for more intake fans than exhaust. My question to anyone is... is one configuration necessarily "better" than another? Or are there any preferences when it comes to having more/less intake than exhaust fans? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Is this a standard enough form factor someone could build a modern PC into it? I'm really disgusted with all the pukable trash cases these days that are basically just mesh and windows with no actual design thought or unique performance benefits. This case looks like the opposite of that with air flow directly through it instead of just mixing it all around inside the case.
