Tengo una 2013 Highlander Base v6, No me salen los mismos colores de cables, entiendo que mi guagua es diferente, el módulo es diferente y en la cantidad de plugs que tienen. Tengo una 2013 Toyota Highlander Modelo Base "económica" V6, 3.5Lt Me interesa que me indiques cuales son los cables que debo conectar al el Relay. Si es tan amable, se lo agradezco.   Los cables de las luces largas en tu guagua son el B2 amarillo y el B3 verde. Esos dos cables van juntos como se ve en el video en el minuto 2:40. La señal de las luces largas es el azul D6 que esta conectado al amarillo del video en el minuto 3:22.

  Saludos. Estas en lo correcto. Ese modulo a parte de las luces, controla muchas cosas mas con relays integrados q fallan. Quizas un tecnico en electronica pueda repararla como hice yo con una q no prendia. Pero lo mas facil es comprar el modulo, instalarlo y ya. El jumper del video es para otro problema.

  @@jesusnieves2161 mi hermano ese problema lo hacen todas tarde o temprano. No se cuanto vale la caja, pero por lo menos la instalacion es facil y la puedes hacer tu mismo.

  Thank you sir. Honestly, now it was just that I paid attention to the background music. This video may have had restrictions of copyrights.😮 I'm from Puerto Rico and I like tropical music most. At 0:40 was playing "En Barranquilla me quedo" from Joe Arroyo", a Colombian salsa singer. At the end, a bit of "regueton" that is used by my employee to calibrate a sound system.👍🏾

  EF Garcia i have a 1998 grand cherokee jeep and my horn just started blowing so i went down stair and disconnected the relay to stop it, put another relay and it still keeps blowing . would mine be the same like your you know the air bag and pad underneath. so i can try this myself.

  Hi. Yes could be the same problem. Remove the airbag and test the horn switch pad wires, min 1:50.

  Hola saludos , en tu video se ve cuán fácil tú levantas con un destornillador la parte donde están los cables , en mi caso es una Higtlander , tú me diste los colores de los cables y creo que puedo hacer el trabajo , mi único detalle es que no he podido levantar esa parte de la caja de los fusibles , gracias y bendiciones 🙏

  Saludos, la pieza que remuevo lleva un tornillo 10mm hacia el guardalodo. Cuando tome el video ya lo habia sacado. No recuerdo si la Highlander es igual.

  @@efgarcia7354 I did not connect it correctly .., thank to you! I will re-connect as you explain but I checked the volt and it wasn't 12v, therefore I asked , is it normal that it isn't 12v at the red wire?

  This voltage is normal, in general on most cars the rated voltage is 6v. For example, if you change a head unit in a car with oem camera you need an step down converter 12v to 6v because the new radio will supply 12v to the camera and you will burn it.

  Yes, this connection will be good. Also this wires are shielded. Stop the video on 3:44 and you can see four loops coming from the pin 23 of radio receiver or brown wire of the camera. The others three wires are sorrounded by this ground loops. Thats means the harness was shielded.

  Highlander 2008 dimmer switch signal wire is blue, pin E11 2:14 of video. High beam wires are yellow and green, pin B2 and B3 2:43.

  A stupid place to have the horn switch under the airbag? Anyone agrees? and not serviceable parts available? My wife's Jeep has that problem, mechanic just disconnected the fuse to the horn. Temp. fix.

  I have an '07 Grand Cherokee, the horn was going off randomly so I pulled the relay but the steering control module stays awake with the horn switch pressed so I had an over 1.5 amp parasitic drain. Darn near every time I have to work on this thing I come across something that makes me say WTF were they thinking.

  @@smartliketruck Jeep is a little difficult to work with and not supposed to have a parasitic drain if you remove the horn relay. A cherokee 05-07 new horn switch is available for about $150 in any Mopar store.

  @@efgarcia7354 On my Grand Cherokee the signal from the horn switch is actually routed through the CANBUS which then fires the relay to sound the horn. If the switch is stuck the system is smart enough to stop sounding the horn but the constant signal keeps the computer system awake. I just fixed my switch problem by giving a little more clearance between the airbag/switch and the outer cover, the switch itself wasn't the problem. The point of my reply was that simply pulling the fuse or relay may stop the horn from sounding but the problem can continue to manifest itself as a parasitic drain if your horn signal is actually routed through the computer system like in my 2007 GCherokee.

  I have been trying to find the signal wire from the dimmer switch but i cant find any,i put the test lead to positive,the bulbs and fuses are ok,i put a positive current directly to the fuses and the high beams lights up,but finding the signal wire from the dimmer switch is where im stucked,pls help

  Very very much appreciated for you reply, I’ve bought the female socket of the car original camera socket and now I’m about to connect the four wires of camera to the socket and then connect it directly to the car socket , so I don’t make any cuts to car cables, how then I can divert the video socket to the cables to be terminated in the female socket

  @@efgarcia7354 I’ve already the camera with power and video cables, and another extension with male video ports but I need to cut the video RCA cable to connect it as wires to the camera socket so I don’t know which is RCA + and which one is the negative to connect them to black and white, I mean the video doesn’t clear which cable of the camera is connected to what cable of the 4 cables in the car And thanks a lot for your effort Tell me if I’m right Red camera to red car Brown camera to brown car Yellow camera to black car ?? Camera to white car as I can’t see the last camera wire clearly

  So my gray trigger wire has 13 volts when high beams are OFF and 0 volts when high beams are ON. I can not find a wire that is hot when high beams are ON and off when high beams are OFF. Do you think I need a new light module?

  Hi. This is because you are testing voltage from ground. Do the same with the test lead to positive. The signal coming from the dimmer switch is negative polarity. If you already check the fuses and bulbs and the high beams don't comes on, the light module would be the problem. Follow the video to do a sucesfully repair.

  What a great job! Thanks for the video. I got 2011 Toyota Venza just yesterday, and I did not notice anything about the headlights when purchasing it. But the low and the high beam both does not work. The fuses are checked, the lamps are in working condition too. How do you think, is that the same problem as described in video?

  Hi. Because the owner of the vehicle agreed to fix the problem quickly and cheaply. He did not want to buy a $250+ junction block that can be damaged over and over again.

  @@BadWeatherfreak yes, but the junction block don't have serviceable parts. The lights are controlled by transistors, not relays.

I can't get the vehicle registered and licenses cause it fails safety inspection in my county and state where I live.   Hi, I need more info about your car. HID's low beams or alogen? Also I want to know the trim. At this time the hi beam lights wires of your highlander are the green and yellow, both are side by side before black and brown. The dimmer signal wire is a thin blue one before a brown. Its all I can toll without a pic. Remember, you have to test it correctly, you have to be sure of all connections. I post my email in the description if you need it.
