  Enjoyed the tour, hoping to make the trek across later in the year. Only question, why so deserted, no one around. We have a river walk here in Melbourne, it's busy from morning until late at night, cafe's, eateries, a casino all line the river front. A tourist hotspot. Thought Chicago would be the same. Have a look at Southbank in Melbourne, even just a walking or driving tour through the city. Polar opposites to Chicago.

  Actually, the water level has been declining a lot. The recent water levels may be the peak for Lake Mead for the foreseeable future, according to a 24-month operation plan from the Bureau of Reclamations. The plan estimates that levels will steadily drop over the remainder of 2024, ending 17 feet (5.3 meters) lower by December. In 2025, the projection estimates that water levels may be at their lowest since the 1930s when the lake was filled. Thank you for watching.

  These are all great questions @sal3oss . We think Aquatica is worth it. We’ve been visiting the park frequently since it opened in 2008. Also, they sell a ticket where you can come back the rest of the year for free. The first thing we would do is arrive early; the main entrance always opens before the official time. This way, you can be ahead of the rest of the crowds. Additionally, when you arrive early, secure some lazy loungers with a sun umbrella. Not all beds have one, and you’ll thank yourself later in the day. Finally, enjoy some of the many slides in the morning; the attractions tend to get busier as the day progresses. And if you just want to cool down during the day, head to Loggerhead Lane, grab a tube, and float in the lazy river. The food options are typical theme park fare: burgers, fries, salads, desserts, and beverages. Lastly, we personally recommend avoiding purchasing any of the Quick Queue passes; instead, focus on riding the attractions in the morning to avoid long lines. We hope this helps!

  I really like the daytime walks down the strip better. A lot of the walkers doing the night walks have all sorts of trouble with the auto focus and white balance. It's just a cleaner look. And it looks like you have your camera raised a foot or so. That's great. All the other Vegas walkers have the camera at head height and it's no fun looking at the backs of heads on the busy streets. Nice work. Hope you do another long walk in the summer time!

  I was born there in 1948. My parents had Camille's restaurant next to Laguna Hotel. We had abalone n muscles close to shore n I saw whales swimming close to shore.

  Nice Views, brings back memories. I was on Midway as part of the VQ-1 Det 41 flying EA-3Bs as a Naval Aircrewman on the Midway in the 1975 cruise season. The 1st view isnt main deck, that is the Lower Hanger deck. Maine deck is up on top where the Cats are.

  @@WorldofWalks No Need for Honor, its what I did. I enjoyed it for the most part. The berthing and ready rooms brought back a lot of old memories. I can smell the Navy Coffee, I can hear the traps and cats and the boat noises. Its been a long time, but your videos brought it all back.
