Man I took free Judo lessons when I was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. The Sensei was about 60, 5' and 130. I was a 25 year old boxer and he could throw me and all of the other young guys like ragdolls! Koroda-san was a bad dude!

This video is very good. Although I think the movement maybe isn't like Ogoshi, but like Ukigoshi, as far as I understand it ( I am no good at uchi mata, I am just a nerd nitpicking the details, sorry ). Those beginners are great ! They are better than me at this technique. Awesome.

As a 42 year old adult, I was never taught ANY of this. We just proceeded through Dai Ikkyo. After I made my first belt rank, I became discouraged, because everyone else was a younger judoka who had dreams of competition and a very aggressive attitude that seemed counter to what I had believed Judo was to be. You seem like a good Sensei, the one that I wish I had thirty years ago.
