Hi there. I was looking through a lot of different bird videos and I came across this one and the title was quite interesting too.mi laughed and laughed but I have to say that I feel that the male didn’t understand what the female wanted to do and could it be that he could be an inexperienced Kestrel and didn’t realize what she wanted to do or was he just playing difficult?🤔. She surly wasn’t gonna give up and I’m wondering if they ever really did have any babies since then? I’m so glad I came here and I have to say that they are really cute birds too. She is much bigger then her partner just like the American a bald Eagles even though different species of Birds.😁. I’ll come and check to see if there a alive cam on them and have to watch. God bless to these two sort of love birds.😁😉 Sue M. Florida,USA ❤️🙏🥰😊👍🏻😂❌⭕️❌⭕️

Hi Sue, thank you for watching and your kind words! Yes the male kestrel was quite young that local experts thought he might be a First-time Dad🤭. Thankfully he finally got what the female wanted and after a few months they’ve successfully raised 6 healthy feisty chicks🐥 ! They all fledged and stayed around their nest for a while😊. Here’s the vid about the family kzread.info/dash/bejne/f619yrl_lZy9lbQ.html&feature=shareb , the first-time parents did so well! The live cam was down until next season. Hope to see the lovely kestrel couple next year😊 I love American Bald Eagles too, and glad you’re from Florida, reminds me of Harriet & Magnificent M❤️Watching how M raise E21 & E22 to become mighty eagles…that’s the most memorable eagle story for me this year! I do hope Samson and Harriet return home in the coming season, after any wounds they may have healed…Anyway, sending love to these lovely birds🙏💕. Thanks again & hope everything goes well with you🥰

@@ivy7150 Hi there @ivy750. WOW! What a very kind response from you and I do appreciate it too. Thank you also for sending me the video too. If I may ask, when does their season start? Is it usually like the other birds and Eagles or are they in the same time frame? So, the male was young huh?😂😂 However, I’m so thrilled that the he gave into the female and they actually had 6 very healthy babies too!?😳😁. WOW!! They both much have been very feral to have 6 or is that the usual number they can or do have normally? I will definitely educate myself on those very pretty birds. The box that the cam showed them going to, there was what looked like a very large cylinder type thing and looked metal above the box, can I ask what that is? To me it looked like a shoot that the could go into but they never went near it? Anyway, thank you again for your kind message and you are a very kind person and I do hope you have a blessed day evening or night too. I’m never sure about time differences but I think you are in the States right or no? God bless you friend. Sue M. Clearwater, Florida USA.🙏🥰😊❤️👍🏻😎❌⭕️

@@susanmorris5520 Hi Sue, they are common kestrels in Hungary (different from American kestrels, a bit bigger) and their season is shorter than the eagles, often starting in March-April and the chicks fledge in June-July, and they'll stay close to nest for a few weeks to learn to hunt. But there are exceptions, there was another nest where the parents brooding eggs in July this year, and the chicks fledged in early August. They usually have 3-6 chicks, but I've seen many die from lack of food elsewhere, so it's lucky to have plenty food here & great young parents(excellent hunters) to get All 6 successfully fledge👍🏻! I assume you mean the metal beam above the nestbox? It's for the cam setup, here are similar photos (scroll down to view) madarles.hu/erdei-fulesbagoly?ht-comment-id=10375621, some chicks will sleep on the beam after fledge, super cute🥰 If you love wild birds, I would recommend the wildlife channel where I follow this nest youtube.com/@Madarles?feature=shareb, they have live cams of various bird species nests, kestrels, the rare red-footed falcons, european rollers, common buzzards, cute long-eared owls, little owls, tawnies, scops owls...So many to watch in spring and summer! Some parents still visit nests in winter. I'm not in the States but in Taiwan, glad these lovely birds bring people together in the world😊Nice to meet you friend! Hope you have a pleasant evening🥰! I have to say that you sure are full of a lot of knowledge on the Kestrels. I also thank you for explaining the about the metal bean above the nest box. It does make sense that it would be a good place to mount the cam for everyone to see the Kestrels. I do appreciate all your information and it is amazing how short amount of time it takes to have their babies and the babies to fledge too. I have to say that is mighty quick. Thanks again and God bless you friend and hope to speak to you again. Sue M. Florida,USA 🥰🙏😊👍🏻❌⭕️
