There are some interesting parody with real world events, you could say the NY parts have a French Connection vibe. Mr. Big is sort of a take on real world NY drug dealers and Dr. Kananga and the fictional San Monique were supposed to be a version Papa Doc and Haiti.

Amway was big at my small childhood Christian church... It always seemed strange to me, even as a little kid. It seemed more than just selling products, which was quite a thing when I was a kid, Tupperware parties, jewelry parties, etc..

I'm glad to say this documentary broke me of my conspiracy theorist ideas. In my defense my belief in it and the 9/11 conspiracy were that the US couldn't possibly let this kinda thing happen, but look what happened in PA

Reagan was a well trained actor and was able to say whatever he needed to with confidence. The public confused this confidence in speaking as being confidence in being right.

Great job, Sir! These are exactly my arguments for years. How about the first shot before the Zapruda-Film starts with showing Kennedys car?

Thank you for this thorough and well put together coverage of the history of Pan Am. It's the only airline I could ever recall growing up in the 70s and as a kid I fantasized about being able to fly on it one day. Unfortunately, by the time I was starting a career and traveling for business it was no more so could never check that one off. I always wondered what really happened to what I remembered as a mainstay in the airline industry. This great piece answered all my questions. Thank you for sharing!

Surprisingly, given the title, this was the most engaging video of yours yet. Thanks for an enormous amount of work it must take to put these together.

This is all so crazy. I have lived in New York my whole life and have never heard of panam (born 2003). It’s insane to me how all this history is just sitting right here, around me. Great video, so interesting and well put together as always.

Awesome videos, I had been in a bit of a JFK rabbit hole as of late & I believe this has brought me back to reality, so thanks for that. Unrelated to this assassination, have you covered the RFK assassination at all? I have seen videos of RFK Jr. Explaining the assassination of his father and why he doesn’t believe sirhan sirhan did it, he claims Eugene Thane Cesar, a security guard and CIA operative fired the fatal shots from behind RFK, and that the autopsy proves it. Would love if you had any insight or thoughts, this was the first video of yours I’ve watched, consider me a fan!

Thanks, glad you liked this one! I have not studied the RFK assassination extensively. However, one thing I do know is that RFK Jr. is not a good source on anything and has made many unsupportable claims about a great many things.

I have adored Sean Munger documentaries since first discovering them, just a few months ago, with the "Lee Harvey Oswald Acted Alone" duo. And, I am HOOKED. And this. Who'd a thunk you'd do this one. So amazing for those of us who dreamed of the life of being a stewardess back in the 70's. Just wonderful, well fact checked, and so entertaining. Thank you.

I've been out of school a few years and have mostly relied on reading to learn more information about historical topics I want to dive into. Although I've learned a good amount, the medium itself has always felt a bit isolating to me. Watching your videos feels like I am back in class again, and its a really fun experience. Great stuff!

The context & background detail of these videos are superb. 30 mins does not an historical video make in my humble opinion 😊👍
