Very cool! I’m interested in booking a venue for my band at this park! Any advice on who to contact to make that happen?

A year later and people still think if they're of Bonneyview, they have the right of way. Redding people don't know how to drive in roundabouts.

You show goats in your thumbnail. Having lived in Laguna beach, the goats were a great way to mitigate brush and overgrowth for fire season. Bring on the goats!

WHY WASN'T THIS MADE MORE PUBLIC?? I REALLY WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS BECAUSE NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING AND THEY'RE CUTTING DOWN ALL OF OUR OLD GROW TREES TO THE POINT THAT IT'S REALLY CHANGING THE ENVIRONMENT IN THESE COMMUNITIES!! Trees do a lot more than just look pretty and off her shade. They do oxygen exchange, they they work to reduce noise, they help buffer certain aspects within a community, and create an ecosystem was healthy air from better moisture balance, better O2, and help to produce the type of chemicals that screen harmful rays from the Sun. We're doing damage to ourselves and our communities when we don't protect these trees. How do I get a hold of someone with this committee??

this is the right approach... the idea is there... but, unfortunately its missing 3 mayor pieces for it to function... for what i see your success rate should be about 5%. good luck.

This all looks very Utopian, I just can't help but wonder how much does it cost? Plus, if the Feds have their way (God forbid), we won't be able to use gas appliances anymore, then what will you do with all that gas, besides use it to generate more electricity for electric cars, which most of the populace can't afford. I'm not against these things, but we can't keep going in debt and hawking our butts so that we can look good on the internet, or be some trending place! The bridge cost us a fortune, and is not returning what they thought it would. Can we please use common sense now in these difficult financial times? We need good money management as well as novel ideas and trending entities that might make our community look "hip" on the front. Why don't we start by recycling 100% of what gets put in recycle bins??! There's an idea! At this point, less than 20% is getting recycled... Why don't we solve that issue? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Trying to avoid a mess by making another mess is just one result I've come to expect from Public Works departments in CA. So much for the civil engineering classes, huh? The same mentality resulted in the reconstruction of a bridge on I-5, as I recall. Here's a radical suggestion folks: avoid shopping at any business served by this abomination of road design. You'd be doing small businesses a favor, easing traffic congestion, and eventually, signalling your displeasure with any road work requiring a training video to navigate. Seriously, how is this any safer than the 4-way intersection at Lake Blvd?

Thank you for treating them like humans. Homelessness can not be treated as a crime but an opportunity for our community to make changes so that way we can prevent people from becoming homeless. Great job. I love redding and all the beautiful people who make it a special place to live.

Keep sharing stories like this with the public. This will help the community better understand the mission behind this program. At first, I wasn't sure about this idea. I had my doubts but seeing this video shows me that we can actually do something positive in the lives of people that some of us might view as unfavorable or "lost with no hope". Well done Redding.

This build has caused tons of congestion and even killed a business in the downtown area. Now they want to remove any free parking and claim it's for the benefit of businesses downtown. Lame.

The California Place Apartment units do not have patios/balconies but rather common resident spaces between each building and in the building itself. The staff at CA Place Apartments (www.californiaplaceapts.com) would be able to answer specific questions regarding the buildings. Thank you.
