The Citizen Academy is a nine-session course held in a classroom setting with a mixture of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. The academy students will be provided with an understanding of the functions and challenges faced by modern law enforcement. The citizen academy will be taught by Redding police officers and other department personnel who are experts in their fields.
