Whenever I'm trying to dodge during blue focus it just simply cancels whole attack and leave me vulnerable to the enemy... xD I don't understand how this didn't happen even ONCE to you in this video.
I’m not exactly sure what you mean, but if you’re continuing to hold down your attack input while tap dodging, you will release the blue focus when you release your attack input
@@ChefOfTheDead That's my point. Sometimes even while holding input + dodge it just stops randomly xd
Well I can basically assure you it’s not the game malfunctioning at least haha. Make sure it’s a tap dodge, not a hold dodge

They stopped servers on xbox. Im really upset. I wanted to play on PC but i dont feel comfortable turning off my antivirus to play it. Its such a good game and they did what Apex legends should do with the customizable skins. That will get people to open up their wallets.
They only removed support for Xbox one, not series s/x. It’s unfortunate yeah, but the performance on that console really just wasn’t holding up. If you’ve got a pc to play it on, awesome! You’ll have a much nicer time on that than the old Xbox one anyways. Turning off HVCI really isn’t a big deal whatsoever, I did my own research and found that many versions of windows don’t even have it on by default, and having it off provides a significant performance boost. It is nearly risk free to turn it off

hi i am late to naraka, but many thanks for the guide! i have an issue if anyone could help me with it, when i try out the longsword combo, i can't figure the CV -> G -> CV because the bot always fall to the ground before i can grapple. am i too slow on the timing or grappling wrongly? (initially, i grappled the bot thinking it would knock him up for another CV. then i followed the vid, so grapple ground to knock up?) i already tried both but isn't working for me! thanks if anyone can teach me what im doing wrong :D
Just started two days ago and this helps a lot i was always losing neutrals and always getting counter with my focus but i think i get it now thanks a lot

There is no way Controller can do grapple hook combos the grapple hook never hits before they hit the ground
Making that statement when there are hundreds of console players doing these combos with total ease is hilarious
@@ChefOfTheDeadwhenever i see pros or high levels playing this game it is on pc and I tried everything you said and pressed the grapple as early as possible and they are still hitting the ground before my grapple hits and the turning off bots part makes me wait like 10 minutes to find a match
@kingky9600 yeah of course the highest level of players and pros are going to be on pc, that’s just how it is with competitive games. I used to be on console myself and I was able to perform grapple combos just fine, so I’m not sure what to tell you really. You’ll just have to work on the timing because I can assure you that it’s possible. You can queue your inputs to an extent, so do them much earlier than you think
My problem is im always playing laggy people who completely eat my parry woth focus attack spam love this game but thats the most annoying part

It's probably because of the sheer amount of time and money that went into the xbox part before he could go to steam (this happened to me, so I'm on pc but through xbox). The only things that are different are the [X] in your name, the leader boards, and (I think) having bot fill as a toggle setting so you can find a match faster. It's good to see that Naraka is bringing in some new players! Don't give up, learn from your mistakes, and have fun!
I started on console yeah, and I wanted to keep my progression so I continued with the Xbox app version. I’d hardly spent any money on the game besides my first battle pass, but I still had a lot of skins and such that I didn’t want to give up. I’d start on steam if you’re brand new
are u useing movement keys during this combos? Because don't know why my hero is getting much closer to enemy with every attack and it's getting harder to land hits when he is almost behind u.
Every input I do is explained in the video, including movement, so don’t worry about there being stuff I’m not mentioning

I remember when Naraka become Free to play (Was a total noob). I thought its just like a simple Battle Royale where you just loot and beat enemies with your weapon. Then, I digged deeper about the game, and holy moly, I do not expect that there's more than just a Battle royale game. The movement techs is the reason why Im hooked to this game. Even the Sky-high quest surprised me like how tf do I beat it within 20 sec. Aside, its really a helpful guide after i haven't play a game for 2 months. Keep up
The fact you got so many good clips of the weapon's skill even before the fist class got buffed as a whole just goes to show how strong the skill can actually be when you know when to use it. Props for the montage.
The Chef's considerable skills on Naraka translate nicely to the Ring. Excellent info as always.

nah these combos doesnt work anymore after the patch. even the longsword V-HD-V bot gets away already after the 1st V. playing on pc, lan 65 ping, stable 60+ fps
They absolutely do still work. You need to practice your input speed/timing
@@ChefOfTheDead i can do the basic grapple combo using heng sword (combat mode on, w/disengage). for long sword tho... when combat mode is on bot just gets away after 1 normal horizontal kek not sure y
@@ChefOfTheDead just found out it was fps problem smh. i was playing in laptop so i capped it to 61 (1650ti). today i decided to update the gpu driver, tweaked some settings in nvdia control panel & uncapped naraka fps. my fps now is stable 80-140 depending on area& wats happening. decided to try the basic grapple combo again & i can do it consistently now.🤦♂

Why doesn't PC have that setting. This is fucking ridiculous. Bots are all legends in combat and movement. Even my ranked matches are filled with them.

Are you playing in the morning? Timing out is pretty rare. I’d suggest playing around 5pm-12am for the best queues. Also what mode? Ranked is the most popular
@@ChefOfTheDead I play at all random times but today I've been trying to play on and off all day. And no I don't play ranked I've been playing quickmode. Also with showdown I wanted to play trios it never loaded but loaded with solo. I'm new to the game I can't play ranked yet because it's still locked

Congrats on the #1 title! I just started playing Naraka on Xbox for two and found I really liked the game. I'm getting familiar with the close combat weapons but yet using the remote weapons on controller is always a pain to me. The aiming is so hard, harder than playing FPS games using controller, LOL. Can you please make a video teaching controller players about the best practices using remote weapons? Will appreciate that a lot!
I love playing this game, but it doesn't have a South America server, so I have to play in North America server with 200 ping. Take a guess how long it takes for attacks to come out and how I even try to time counters.
200 ping = 200ms = 0.2 seconds delay, which is rough… hopefully they provide SA servers one day
I wanna try this game, but the fact it wants me to turn off my antivirus is very shady and is kinda keeping me from playing it.
HVCI is not even automatically enabled in most cases, and isn’t even available at all in many Windows versions. There is no harm in turning it off. The reason why it’s recommended to turn it off is because it negatively affects performance when on

No more information is shared or sold than any other game or service. Do you realize how much of your data is sold to advertisers by Facebook, instagram, etc?
Narak is free to play. If you play long enough, you can unlock all heroes, but if you want nice skins....you aint getting those without a fat wallet if you're a light spender just buy the battle pass and nothing else unless it becomes dirt cheap.
I’ve never bought a skin. The battle pass and free random loot chest drops will net you plenty of nice skins

bro wtf am i doing wrong??????????????????????????????? Ive been practicing the FIRST longsword combo for literally hours and no matter how quickly I do the inputs, the bot rolls just as my final charged vertical goes right by. I have all the inputs down and I know im doing it properly and in order because it looks exactly like your video, but no matter what I do that final hit WILL NOT LAND. Im going insane plz help. Same goes for the final charged vertical on the katana and heng sword.
It almost seems like my grapple bump might not be getting the enemy high enough for there to be enough time for me to charge vert them before they hit the ground
FINALLY. Got it consistent. For some reason I am having to aim farther than what you are showing in the video, almost like past the white circle a decent way. But i got it lol. Good video!

I just started playing, but I play on steam, I just found out I’m playing against bots, they needs to make this setting on all platforms otherwise I just might quit.
The issue is the setting existing. Replenish bots is off by default on steam. You just get bots if you’re bronze/silver rank either way

Gold will still have a lot of bots but certainly not all. Just keep pushing to plat and the players will start to outnumber the bots

I personaly think Zai is very underrated. Extremely mobile, may have a combo breaking, damage and combo startup or healing and extended duration of ability depending on what you chose plus her ult is so broken...

You’re asking how to walk around and sprint? 😅 yes I recommend using wasd and shift. These are the default controls. If you’re unfamiliar with the most basic controls though, I recommend playing through the tutorials. In my specific case I use a custom keypad so telling you my exact binds wouldn’t really mean much
