  Found the video I was after, had to wait until I was on desktop, this will enable you to do a live edit to remove that 1:30 section of video after title that didn't get included. How to REMOVE MISTAKES from a published KZread video kzread.info/dash/bejne/gY2jlJaqkpbdXdY.html Been ages since I have used the live edit function and last time it worked, at least it did on unlisted videos. Should still work hopefully as its an easy fix to a simple editing mistake, happens to anyone who has ever uploaded. At least you didn't forget to include the sound like someone did on a 1.5hr video lecture and he didn't notice it until 2 weeks since it was a scheduled release :)

  They are beginning CCN modifications on 11 stations, will receive new car markers 10/8/6/4 and moved balises in preparation to comply with the new operating model. This is to take place first weekend of August. It would seem that CCN will be the first line to get them as the April/May reports from Tfnsw indicate the process to convert/upgrade for NIF operations will take from Mid 2024 to 2026. This gels with some reports that SCO will get them in 2025. Hopefully that isn't the case though

  @@Perpetual-sk2ee yes from what I’ve heard the order will be CCN, BMT then SCO. Also why CCN and BMT get almost daily testing, whilst the SCO only gets one run a day or a couple throughout the week. Mostly 6 car sets have been testing the SCO (in the night runs), whilst 10 car sets go on the CCN and BMT

  @@SydneyTrainspotter One interesting thing noted in the trackwork documents has been the inclusion of references to 8 car NIFs, they will have their own dedicated marker and presumably balises for ASDO (Automatic Selective Door Operation). Plus we do know they can run and have run in 8 car configs. SCO has had some night 10 cars testing which should have been increased by now. Maybe now TfNsw being in charge of intercity might help them co-ordinate the testing more effectively than Trainlink.

  @@DMON383 wellllll… after the NIFs enter into service, the north shore ppl will get Oscars instead of Tangaras (an upgrade), while the T4 gets the used, old rotten north shore Tangaras! It only gets worse from here! TTU 🙇‍♂️

  Honestly would be cool to try hold an umbrella with one hand and film with the other - lots of easy motion and turns for speeding trains! That type of shade would be from the Sun - I was in fact in the rain - also do not recommend standing under a tree on a rainy day

  Interesting train trip. I used to live in Sydney many years ago and can remember the Eastern Suburbs Railway opening in 1979 and as a very young child, I can even vaguely remember the opening of Circular Quay station many years earlier.

  20:17 This guard who does Sector 1 shifts mainly T4 has a history of yelling on the intercoms blowing up the Internal and External speakers on every Tangara trains. I nearly had a go at him for doing that.

  i remember this, I think. I typically travel on Central's Platform 23 to Mascot, but was surprised the other day to see a T4 Tangara on that platform as well. I'm not sure how they weaseled out of the underground tunnels haha.

  some services might not be an express service because they have stopping patterns along the route & eventually just stop at most stations. because some services, it's all stops & limited stops. which are trains that run on timetables that tells them which services is a all stops/limited stops & express. these lines are services by Sydney trains. & trainlink nsw. but they don't stop much because they have some express service running through there as some stations are not part of their stopping patterns on their service. because you will see them run past. so some trains are very different. they will stop & some express don't.

  No, This was filmed in the day. The V set was a Blue Mountains service that was using the City Circle because of Sydney terminal being closed (trackwork). So they made the 4 car sets go around the City Circle!

  It occurred in 2022 due to industrial action, just an old clip that I wanted to share from the past :) Waratahs can run down until Hurstville but they can’t run to Bondi Junction, instead they went around the City Circle.

  The original City Circle logos for each of the stations are based on the London underground network :) Bradfield proposed the stations after going to the UK and viewing the networks himself, getting inspired to base the logos on them as well!

  I suppose that was the pattern before ESR was opened. How did the train enter the city circle via Town Hall from the Illawarra pairs? Redfern platform 9, cross to Central 17 then loop?

  Spot on mate! A couple trains went from Redfern Platform 9 to Central 20/21 & went around the inner City Circle instead, but the majority of them went via Town Hall

  Medical incident at Central :) I didn’t explain that in this video but I did in the upcoming one that’ll release soon The incident closed off the eastern suburbs rail link so that’s why all T4 trains used the City Circle

  Oscars don’t stop at Platform 3 ever. Only at platforms 1 and 2 and that is for suburban runs in the morning peak
