Interesting train trip. I used to live in Sydney many years ago and can remember the Eastern Suburbs Railway opening in 1979 and as a very young child, I can even vaguely remember the opening of Circular Quay station many years earlier.

i remember this, I think. I typically travel on Central's Platform 23 to Mascot, but was surprised the other day to see a T4 Tangara on that platform as well. I'm not sure how they weaseled out of the underground tunnels haha.

Yeah they don’t use the underground tunnels when diverted anywhere. The underground tunnels = guaranteed Bondi Junction service

20:17 This guard who does Sector 1 shifts mainly T4 has a history of yelling on the intercoms blowing up the Internal and External speakers on every Tangara trains. I nearly had a go at him for doing that.

No, This was filmed in the day. The V set was a Blue Mountains service that was using the City Circle because of Sydney terminal being closed (trackwork). So they made the 4 car sets go around the City Circle!

The absolute state of Sydney is appalling these days
