  Thank you for posting this. Is it a real treat to see the this lady from Stone Island explaining her role in the company. I love the passion from Italian people in what they do. I have friends in Milan that are so full of passion in what they do/make it’s infectious. I feel that the Italians are steeped in tradition but at the same time forward thinking. When I wear a made in Italy Stone Island, I wear with pride and it makes me feel happy. Seriously, for me there’s no other brand of clothing that makes me feel this way. Stone Island should be on Italy’s heritage list, not to be messed with. They are very similar to companies like Pagani or Sonus Faber. What is it about Italy that keeps producing these incredible designers. IMO, no one does clothes, wine or food like the Italian’s. With love from the uk 🇬🇧

  Love the fabric technology and lowering waste by recycling/adding in different materials concept but cellulose is a naturally biodegradable material, no matter how you weave or stretch it, Implying the garments will likely deteriorate a lot faster than those before it even with their respective wash care recommendations staunchly in place and that essentially any pieces made in this way will be significantly cheaper to manufacture. It begs questions like WHY are your consumer prices inflating exorbitantly ? where did the forward thinking rapport that the brand was founded upon go ? and how did it seemingly lose its way from it ?

  Recycling scraps then zooming in on the holes in the fabric and charging crazy prices? Bring back the early stone island era when there was more variety and styles. Not just a badge slapped on to every piece.
