The high cost of living is leading to the rise of on-line shopping! If I got paid more money I would love to go shopping in the shopping malls where you can try on the clothes and feel the quality!

But the UK is not a violent country. They are peace loving, law abiding with no need for firearms or even knives. Heck, even the police see no need for firearms. Just firm language to subdue malcontents. How do I know this? I watch BBC, Britbox, and Acorn. Surely they wouldn't portray something not accurate? Brits are NEVER violent. Politicians, theirs and our American politicians who hold the UK's firearms restrictions up to us as a role model, have all said so. And surely, elected officials would NEVER lie, would they? Huh?

Don't you see? They are trying to destroy all the small shops so that when the globalists reign, you will all get your stuff from whom they tell you.

It’s a combination of all of those things and your rates and your water, all piled on top of the business before you have received a penny in you have to pay out thousands, therefore if you don’t get the business through the door how are you going to pay for everything electric like I said water rates maintain rent. This is the real reasons for the decline of the High Street.

You know all these post-war 1950s, 1960s ugly concrete carbuncle flat roofed shopping precincts & offices that plague every town in the country? Maybe it's time that they should all be demolished now there's no need for them anymore, and investment put into constructing new affordable apartment buildings with plenty of open green spaces between them, and restoring and redeveloping the nice old Victorian and Edwardian buildings instead. Notice how different you feel when you suddenly see that beautiful old church immediately after the shopping precinct? I've always disliked those post war concrete buildings, even as a little kid they made me feel depressed, growing up in Bridgend, which back in the late '70s/early '80s was full of discount shoe shops. When I moved to Guildford in the 1980s with its 17th century cobbled high street, it was like landing in Beverley Hills by comparison.

It's time someone formed a new Party ... a bit like Nigel Farage's party but with one aim ... cut immigration by 100% and weed out all those bludging illegals... especially from those ghastly African countries.... THAT will secure nearly all the votes in the country

I'm a business owner in Bristol and I can tell you why the high streets are dying - inanely high commerical rents. It's exactly the same issue that people are facing with residential rents. Greedy landlords, propped up by unscrupulous estate agents, are destroying the country. Independent shops and businesses are not supported by the council in any meaningful way. In fact, recently, they've been going out of their way to make life difficult for shop owners, but that's a whole story in itself.

I live in Bristol, but I can't afford to live in Bristol. I exist here, trapped in rental limbo, awaiting the day that rent increases make me homeless. 'You will own nothing and you WILL be happy.'
