If only that mixer had 8 outputs. Maybe my 4 piece band can get used to mono for live monitoring. Do you bring your own drum mics? Or do you use the house mics and plug them into your setup? How to deal with drums quickly and efficiently with a setup like this has always been the biggest mystery

Made massive upgrades since this video. We now have 32 inputs with 16 outputs available. We bring everything ourselves and plug them in ourselves. FOH gets a snake with all of our inputs

Hey man! Super great video! I just got my Quad, and planning to run 2 guitars and a bass, for each output just like you showed, what would be the best cabling? XLR to XLR for input 1/2, and 3 6.35 to XLR to the FOH snake? ( No need of DI boxes?)

Great vid! Can you make a little video on how to make logic communicate with the QC's? I've tried it a little, but couldn't make it work. Probably some settings or so. In Ableton I could get it to work, but I live in Logic, so would be great if someone made a video on that. Can't find any good ones:) Cheers!

With the Scarlett being only two channels, click and tracks, does that mean you can only send one line of tracks to FOH? Say I wanted different EQs for different tracks would I need a bigger interface with more outputs? Or can you achieve it with the 2 channel?

  • @jamsscott

The QC has several operating modes. “Scene mode” lets you save a scene (capture a specific set and assign it to a foot switch. Eg: A-Lead Tone, B-Rhythm Tone, etc.). There are a few other modes like “Stomp Mode” which lets you use the QC as a “traditional” pedalboard, assigning each foot switch to a pedal (overdrive, reverb, delay, etc.) to switch it on or off. You also have “Preset Mode” which assigns different presets to different foot switches, etc. Hope this helped!
