Thanks for going to the effort of sharing this. I found your approach to micing the drums particularly interesting. Often see people (guilty myself) trying to mic drums on stage the same way they would in a studio, but as you said, in most venues you're going to have a fair bit of acoustic sound direct from the kit to the audience. So the mics are just there to augment that. Different requirements call for different mic positioning. Awesome video. Love to nerd out to more in depth tech stuff. 🤘

Sell that Midas m32 or whatever and get a digico, you’ll thank me later. Also trade the g3/4 sennheiser stuff for wisycom. It’s broadband so you aren’t limited to a narrow range.
