Hey man I’ve been loving these videos. My pocket 4 pro comes tomorrow and I was wondering if you prefer aethersx2 3060 over 3668 and 4248. Everyone tells me 3060 is bad but seeing your videos you’re able to play games that don’t run that well on other versions. So should I get 3060 and is 3060 the version that comes on the pocket 4 when you’re asked to download the emulators in the set up?
So the choice, in my opinion, is either 1.4.3060 or NetherSX2. And you'll want NetherSX2 if you want to play the Snowblind Engine games like Champions of Norrath (here's the full list - www.giantbomb.com/snowblind-engine/3015-7454/games). If you don't care about those games, I recommend 1.4.3060. The version that comes up during the Retroid setup is a much older version. There's a download link to 1.4.3060 in the compatibility list that's in the video description of every PS2 test that I have.

@@TheGamingGeekNet one of the biggest examples is sly cooper from what I’ve seen it runs horribly on 3668 and on 4248. I’ve seen some people on 3668 have issues running bully idk if it’s an issue with aether or if they have the wrong settings enabled. I got this system mostly for sly cooper since that was the game I played most as a kid but then I found out it runs so bad or is barely playable on certain versions so when I saw your video on it I was blown away.

Playthroughing SMT 5 right now. Also, Nocturne is the 3rd mainline game. There are a bunch of spin-offs for the series, like Persona, though; luckily, none of the games other than 1 and 2 are set in the same universe. Also, does this mean that you are going to be doing Persona 3 and or 4 too? With 3 I would say take a lot at FES and or Portable.
Only if someone requests for them. I think Persona 3 FES will play on this device with no issue. I just have a lot on my backlog at the moment.
Can you save game?
Yes you can, via memory card files and save states.

Sorry late response. You should get the 4 Pro model, especially if the price difference is minor. Aside from the extra power that will let you play a lot more PS2 and Gamecube games, the device itself is better. Better placement of Start/Select, better analog sticks, analog triggers, and front firing speaker.

Glad I could help! Check out my Retroid Pocket 3+ PS2 videos, the settings that I used on those should work on the RG405M, especially with upgraded Gamma OS.
@TheGamingGeekNet that's what I was going to ask lol. I have gamma OS, and I was wondering if you can do more ps2 settings videos for the AR405M. So your saying that device is the same as the rg405m?
They (RG405M and RP3+) have the same chip so performance is comparable, but they are not the same exact device. Right now I'm focused on doing more RP4 Pro videos right now (trying to get at least 100 games on my RP4 Pro compatibility list).
Hey! Great video, i was wondering how you got your brightness as high as you did for doom 64. With sys brightness at 100 percent and game brightness all the way up it is still unplayable on my rg353v. I'm using android GammaOS and cannot figure this out. Thank you for your time
Oh man, it's been a long time since I touched my RG353V. I used JELOS when I did this video, GammaOS wasn't even in development back then (that started with the RG505).

I loved driving games, until I discovered the rubber band mechanics. It doesnt matter how good or bad you are, because the AI slows down, if you drive into a wall and speeds up, if you dont make any mistakes. Most racing games have rubber band mechanics and this mehanic killed the entire racing genre for me :D
