Once upon a time this was played as much as COD
Cooking a grenade, means pulling the pin, and still hold until the last few seconds, then when you throw it, the enemy don't have time to get out of the way of the blast radius.

Oh thank you, that makes sense! I didn't even have a good handle of how grenades are used when I tried this!
