    Random complaint: I see so many comments from people who genuinely found inspiration and learned something from this video. Which is awesome! That means this video successfully does what it stated its purpose is. But then there's the occasional comment from people who are actively trying to find something to complain about and every single one of them is a complaint that either this video doesn't provide different information from what it stated, or that the complaint is under a false assumption that the purpose of the video content is for something it never said it was for in the first place. Like the one that goes, "why show what other successful sites do and explain why it works? Why not just do entry level design topics like everyone else?" or the face-palming, "your design is too referenced to what is award winning and not original and unique enough!" as if the target audience wasn't the everyday person who doesn't know much about design and doesn't have all the time in the world to do a full course on the ins and outs of design for the website they're trying to make themselves. My question is, are these people purposely missing the point of this video so they can ego-stroke while leaving negative comments or are they genuinely incapable of seeing a video for anything other than what they expect, and thus just too full of themselves to be aware of the idea of genuine assistance to others in a meaningful way? Don't get me wrong, I'm a completely average person so am aware that at least half the population has to be stupider than I am, otherwise I would be above average, but maybe I'm just too ignorant in my own ability to see how someone can't see an apple for an apple and thus insists on complaining that it isnt an onion nor onion-like. /end random rant Edit: this is a really good example of what is meaningfully possibly with using KZread as a way to help teach people. And its a damn good video format for engagement with the audience in a meaningful way. I know those both sound the same, but its for different reasons. If nothing else, if anyone is wanting a template for their own content to start their own channel, try to be more like this channel.

    One thing failing about this analysis is that you compare a "boring" corporate site with a more "fun" website... The tone you want to give to a website is also important, you cannot make a brand more fun if that's not your intention. You should compare a "serious" site with another serious one. Stay in the same tone, but fix the design issues.

    Dude!! what about framer???

  • @DesignSpo
    @DesignSpo19 күн бұрын

    Framer is great for smaller scale projects and creating beautiful animations really simply, but I don’t recommend them for first time web developers because they’re still missing a lot of functionality that Webflow and Wordpress have and that businesses find essential.

    What’s the best no code development tool? Is it webflow, Wordpress, gohighlevel, elementor, ect. I’m trying to find what the best development tool would be someone like me who uses Sigma to design and would prefer to use a note code development tool to bring the website to life

  • @DesignSpo
    @DesignSpo19 күн бұрын

    In the video I recommend Wordpress because it’s got a huge ecosystem of well-supported extensions & environments. Very easy to find WordPress hosting & plugins for everything you need to build a website. Webflow is another great option, HighLevel is okay for web design but great at marketing, Framer is great for making beautiful websites but lacks some functionality. Every tool is a trade off, but the one with the least downside for beginners I believe is Wordpress.

    And while I'm on it: Elementor isn't known for its great code (especially with plugins) but most designers & agencies still use it. I found Yootheme Pro years ago and stuck with it for most projects because it was just easier to use for me (more dev background) then Elementor (which my more-creative-more-design-focus-wife likes more admittedly). Any thoughts / experience with Elementor vs. Divi vs. Bricks vs. YooTheme Pro for that matter? :) (I edited my first question while you were answering xD)

  • @Artair86

    hey there, just getting into the newer UI/UX stuff after doing local business websites & sports clubs and so on for like 20+ years as a side business (yes I'm that old :P) Why does it look like everybody on the internet is using figma instead of Adobe XD? (Although likely having the full cloud subscription for Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator anyways?!) Yes I know, Adobe put XD in "maintenance" mode in anticipation of the bust figma-acquisition - but XD still has everything you need..? Am I missing something here? (I started out designing websites in Macromedia Fireworks, slicing an putting stuff in tables...)

  • @DesignSpo
    @DesignSpo19 күн бұрын

    Hey thanks for watching! Short answer is that Figma is super intuitive for newer designers, has really good prototyping tools, and a great library of plugins that aren't supported by Adobe XD. If you're comfortable with XD and there's no pressure to change, it's a great choice. But for people getting into design for the first time I always recommend Figma.

  • @Artair86
    @Artair8619 күн бұрын

    @@DesignSpo Thanks a lot, that makes total sense to me. I was just wondering as we have the "big" Adobe Cloud anyways and it would be another subscription on top of everything else and UI / workflow-wise Adobe stays Adobe.. :)

    I checked your channel, from what i observed as a founder , you put effort in providing strategic approaches to mitigating a design flaw, to be able to understand and interpret such things requires a blended mind of an artist and a critic, and you seem to have that! keep your approach like this and i hope your content rockets someday!
