Nutrinos ARE a good thing. Please look up what nutrinos exploration is. For the person wondering what the Sanford lab does in the former homes take mine. And what is really weird about this video is I saw myself! I drove past you in a black Dodge Durango! How weird is that!? I hope our little town with a big history was informative and enjoyable. Beautiful from either side. When they’d allow it, we used to ride to Tuolumne from Lee Vining on road bikes before the Pass opened in Spring. It’s a big bike path with no cars!

Great video! Done it and we did it by accident. We left NE Yellowstone and needed a route to go to Deadwood SD, so Apple Map took us on Beartooth Highway. So surprised and thrilled. It is one of the prettiest drives I have been on in the US. That includes HWY 1 on California, HWY 180 through Kings Canyon in California, and Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Going to do Beartooth again next summer.

Definitely worth it. Going there next month! My favorite view is actually one that wasn’t shown in the video, looking south and west as you start descending from the top going the opposite direction as they did.
I always look forward to going back, when driving downhill back to Lee Vining, try not to speed and to drive slow, stay calm and try not to get distracted looking over the edge, if there are cars behind you, pull over and let them past and you’ll be ok. That’s what I do. It’s not a race to see who gets down the hill the fastest.
It is a very scenic drive around the lake with a lot of places where you can stop and enjoy the awesome views. It's a must.
This is one of the best drives I have ever done. If you are in Yosemite N.P. you have to drive it.
The views from the top are amazing. The road itself is not that dangerous as some might describe it. It is not that steep and reasonably wide, just take it easy and you are gonna be fine.
