27:00 you say its not smart to kick a robot since robots will train on videos. I disagree. With any common sense, it will be obvious that the kicking was intended to help train it to have great balance and reaction skills as well as demonstrate those skills. There was nothing harmful behind the kick as far as intentions go. Not only that, but the robot itself has no sense of pain receptors nor emotions so it could not possibly be offended or injured by a kick. This makes the kick entirely benign and it is IMPOSSIBLE for any logical being to see it as wrongful to do it. Sadly this uploader is not being logical.

Copyrights recognize the ideas of the written word. Once written, that piece of intellectual property carries 'ownership' rights. So, AI references to these ideas must be protected by these rights. Unless AI is creatively producing ideas and output ex-nihilo, there is no distinction that is sufficient to separate the original owner with their idea. That is why anyone not belonging to the original writer must include a reference to the original work. The argument that NYT is suing a machine and therefore 'it's not the same thing' is basically false and mis-leading. Yeah, when a machine's output would produce the same idea originating from a company, that machine isn't creating content because it is limited to the original ideas created by humans. therefore, the machine should and must follow the rules. I believe that no matter how much 'processing' goes on in-between inputs and final output, when output has generated any protected content, such as copyrighted image or article, this means the AI does 'borrow' or 'steal' from the original author/creator. Human creativity is a protected quantity, and so machines that take copyrighted material, massage per some parameters, change it slightly, must adhere to time-honored protections.

Apple Intelligence is too little, too late. They waited too long and miscalculated how fast other A.I. developments would go. They missed the boat and now come with silly emoji's and making pixar-like avatars from your contacts. People who say, wait two years to see what Apple Intelligence will become, simply forget that the competition is already miles ahead and accelerating. Apple needed to come with a mind-blowing, groundbreaking presentation, but sadly it was just meh.

Udio is clearly trained with copyrighted material and without consent of the authors. If you ask it for very specific genres you'll recognize the voices of real singers and the sound signatures of important bands. The technology is very interesting but as a product it's problematic in lots of ways.

I don't get this, what does apple think, that the most important thing people care about is pictures, photos, emojis and stuff? They also focused too much on 'AI knows your personal context' I feel those two things were their selling points.

Great job on this video! UDIO's new Upload Feature is crazy good. I did a step by step tutorial video on my channel showing how you can take an 8 year old demo of an actual song written by Nashville songwriters and create a newer modern day version of the same song using Udio's upload feature. Technology is just getting better and better quicker than expected which is scary.

“It started to sing” actually it started getting me thinking about the 100 things I need to do to make it sound human. Sadly it’s just too ai it’s better but it’s still alien sounding especially with the way the vocal arrangements were mixed in. The jazz song came across better, but the syncopation and the singing sounded like it was forced together and there was no space in the musicality. That being said it was good. That’s as far as I got with the video as an unskipperble commercials kicked in and I haven’t the time for unskipperble commercials but I’m sure the rest of the video was interesting

As an animator, I find this rather scary than helpful. Animation is not an easy thing to do and it takes time to learn and a lot of skills to become good at it, seeing now that people can make animations out of AI without effort is like your years of hard work being stolen by someone who barely has an idea of what animation is.

I agree with your observations and I like learning of new AI apps in your discussions. i have one minor criticism though. the videos are too long. it is easier to share with other people who are not up to speed with these topics when the video is closer to 10 minutes. even if mulitple videos are needed to cover a topic, the ones who are interested will watch the remaining segments and those less interested will not.
