if ai is basically all the human data combined with restrictions then won’t it be like an “ideal average human” from the “conscious” perspective? I mean yeah they don’t have feelings but AGI surely will have them or rather simulate them perfectly and unless we put restrictions on them they will be like average of all the data it’s trained on.

It is one thing to test the robot's balance in the lab, as that is logical and required; it is another thing to upload a video of doing that using a boxer's mitt. We as humans already have enough fear and potential animosity towards a 4 foot robot. Even though the robot can't feel pain, I still felt bad watching that. AI searching the internet 'should' understand the context of a demo video and that this is simply testing balance. Alos, if it really takes THAT much power to move it backwards, then this little robot is strong and maybe we don't want it roaming around in a home with dogs, cats, and children (or little old me!). Just the slashing movement alone (glass pop bottle) is enough for moms to say, oh hell no, not around MY children.

@@paulmcgreevy3011 I wasn't not serious. I don't think he was entirely "joking." His point is that we don't quite know how this is going to play out and that was what I was agreeing about. These are complicated times.

At 2:32 there is a shot that is obviously from a game engine like UE. The HDRI environment gives it away. Anyone who works in UE regularly will recognize it. Actually a lot of the shots in this video look like CGI.
