Thanks! 🙏 very kind of you to say 😁
as a canadian, i thank you for helping support our woodworking tools. jessum makes some great stuff! Lee Valley, another great canadian company, has most of their tools on their site as well
Love me some Lee Valley also! Great guys over there

Brilliant ! Love your humour - both informative and entertaining. :-)
Thanks, really appreciate that
9:06 do those black rubber pieces come with the unit, or must I buy them separately?
They are included with the unit.
@0:27 You can easily use wood cauls for that type of glue up, I've done it for years. You need to turn the boards on their sides, they are stronger and won't flex as much. Then just use wax paper or packing tape on the cauls and glue won't stick.
That was kind of a demonstration of what NOT to do, I did use tape on the cauls a few minutes later.
Sorry I just found you - you're a HOOT! And your production quality is outstanding! I learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed this video! Keep up the good work!
Welcome aboard! Working on a sequel to this video right now… should be out in early August!
Mobile cart with collapsing wings was my solution. It also gave me another work surface for sanding and what not.
nice vid, you sort remind me of doc from back to the future
I wish I had his cool hair!
Watched a couple of episodes and your video production is great. So is the content. Keep up the good work, it’s much appreciated.
@@gerrydawson oh my, thank you a million!
Nice mods and great video. I plan to do this with my saw. Thanks for the video!! One suggestion on the angle bracket support. If you are using the L-bracket style you showed, I would add a chamfer to the bottom backside of that fence. The L bracket has a crimp/bump in the inside middle of the 90degree angle to give added support. Without a chamfer, the support portion of the L will be pushed down due to that crimp/bump.
That is true. I actually ground that crimp off, I just didn’t show it in the video. A shallow chamfer on the fence is smart and probably an even better option! 👍
Yeey that's a nice idea! Btw you look like u could be related to Gaten Matarazzo aka Dustin in Stranger Things!
@@blaskedryck 😂 my wife always says the same!
love this idea...but would you not cut through your t-track on a bevel cut? will a standard wood blade cut through it without an issue?
@@shanekwilson648 I have one that is a 45° angle that I will swap in if I need a 45. For other angles I just open up the gap a little wider. These slide left and right so that’s no problem. And yes, these are aluminum so you can cut them with a standard blade all day, no worries
Great idea Lee! Thanks subbed!
@@mikec2810 love it! 🥰

FRICKIN WONDERFUL... for all our DUBM...F'S....THANK YOU
@@nelcohawaii glad you found it useful good sir
Apparently you need TWO of these guides if you want to use their parallel system. Be advised.
@@VietTran-xl2ms I did find that out later… if you’re using the DeWalt track. You can use the DeWalt track saw on a Makita or Festool track though, so in that case you’d only need one.
@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks I went and ordered a second unit since there is no point in spending the same amount or more on different brand tracks and they won't be double sided usable in the end and they will take up more space.
@@VietTran-xl2ms good choice 👍
Won’t it bow when u put the bolts outside the “shelf”
If you crank the bolts hard enough that could happen. You don’t need to crank them down that hard.
I use 4 pieces of thick extruded aluminum, the t-track stuff.
That works too! Same idea
Very clever💯👌⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you! Cheers!
bad ass...!
Yeah buddy 💪
Good show, well put together. ❤
Glad you think so!

@@col0342 I didn’t know that. Thanks for pointing that out
Great video, Sir. I'm still happy I paid to get mine installed, but I feared that I might mess up my pre-charged lines (and needed a new dedicated circuit installed for it in my shop). Congrats on your climate control - it's great, isn't it? 2 1/2 years later and I still love mine made for my northern climate Canadian shop! Keep the videos coming!!! 👊
I almost had to get a new circuit myself, but instead I tapped into the clothes dryer. We have a gas dryer, so we don’t use that 220.
Well because of the Π (U) shape the edges under pressure will leave a dent/mark om the wood, what I'm proposing is to flip them and have its flat face down, then use some small blocks that will fit into the gap but a bit taller and with a hole for the bold to go through and to tie the wing nuts. This way you are avoiding herding your panel.
If you need to crank them tight and you fear the wood might be dented, then sure, this is definitely a good idea!
OMG I haven't seen a video this funny in forever thank you so much I'm making one of these two you are the best❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@terrylynn7396 haha I have even funnier ones. This is toned way down for me lol
This is exactly what I need in my shop / garage!! I just got that same miter saw and couldn't decide what I wanted to do and this has made my decision. :)
Right on! Glad I could help!
Too much drama. Just get to the chase.

You are a delight to listen to. But I don't hear Austin in your voice...and I live in Austin. Of course, no one hears Austin in my voice either. Where are you from?
Only been here in Austin since 2018. Originally from Portland Maine!
Super Strut is a brand name. Many other companies offer products like this. There are hundreds of accessories that go along with strut systems. Unistrut is one example of another brand. Get a catalog or visit a website and you will see that strut comes in many different sizes and configurations. 20 foot lengths are available.
Nice idea. But doesn't the angle grinder (@6:30) spin the wrong way? If it caches it moves towards you with chances of serious injuries in your leg. When it spins the other way it will move away from you in case of catching
Hmm, I guess I wasn’t really paying attention there. My bad!
