The 10 Best Woodworking Channels You're Not Watching
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
How do you fight the power of the KZread algorithm? This algorithm largely determines your viewing behavior on the platform, exposing the same few mega-channels over and over, at the expense of smaller creators who deserve to be seen.
We’re showcasing 10 of these smaller channels - amazingly talented woodworking creators you should check out! I’m showing 5 in this video, and Jered Wilson from @inlandwoodandresin is showing the other 5 here: • Video
That means in order to get all 10, you gotta watch BOTH videos. Pretty clever, right? 😉

Lee this is a brilliant win-win-win-win (that's 4 wins) tactic -- you are a genius. Your viewers win because you've introduced us to this great new content we wouldn't have otherwise seen. Those other KZreadrs win because you're driving traffic to their channels. The woodworking community at large wins because the YT algorithm is being re-trained. And YOU win because we're all sharing this video, thus increasing the views of your channel. A masterstroke of marketing, well done, and keep 'em coming. (Oh, and amazing editing.)

@@BustedKnuckleWoodworks Yours have come on such a long way, Lee. I too am super jealous. Maybe it is time to retire I Movie.
These are very encouraging to me. I have been dismayed in the last year or so as more and more woodworking channels in my feed are those with no narration at all. They are just close ups of a pencil making a mark, then a saw cutting, then a pencil making a mark then a saw cutting, repeat a dozen times vary a little with some bits of wood being glued, then back to marking and cutting again. All to the boring sound of repetitive royalty free music we’ve heard on a million videos before. You only discover what’s being made at the end. What a depressing bunch of boring crap. You never mentioned MY CHANNEL, and I had to laugh just saying that!!! I have a channel here on KZread as well, BUT I don't have any content really to speak of!! PART of my problem is, every time I think I will own a computer for a video editing rig, it breaks down!! AND currently the piece of junk I own as a cell phone is more like something that was built ten or fifteen years ago!! In short I DO have an 8mm Sony Handy Cam, that is stereo and records fine!! BUT just yesterday I bought a Firewire cable I need to be able to attach it to my computer!! Which my current computer is a Windows 10 unit, that has just TWO small hard drives in it!! So I do have to upgrade the storage capacity of that soon!! Basically I do, do a lot of wood working, other projects, from electronics to auto repair and construction and metal working!! BUT as of this writing I only have TWO videos on my channel.....and one it that of a winter snow storm, and the other is a break down of my tiny workshop shed when I built it!!
