Why did Shoji white come off peachy pink on my outside walls???

Painted my open space high ceiling south facing home White Dove - looks like a cheap white gray contractor color. Detest it!

Paneling can be painted period a decade ago I painted 50 year old basement 8 x 4 paneling white and it still looks perfect . I'm not sure what I used but it might have been oil-based for the Perma white I've used in multiple bathrooms and that can take color mixed in
I would kill to have that green tile bathroom. It should be a crime to paint over such tile. Not everything old is useless or "ugly". The other ideas had merit, but that, no.
I want to paint my bathroom cabinets and kitchen island a bluish gray paint color. More blue then gray. The other cabinets I would like an off white for the other cabinets. I have allot of samples. I don’t want to make a mistake. Any combination suggestions? I have darker wood floors.
Should I get eggshell as the base?

I agree it is simple and cheap to update a home…..and painting has to be number one oh and fresh new curtains and of course paint the front door. Rip up old carpets too
Jitney looks mauve on my walls. It’s odd. I have southern facing windows and didn’t use primer…I don’t want any maybe or cool tone in this room so i have to keep testing patches
I’m color drenching with Antique Pewter and highlighting with plum, magenta and electric blue and red. Freaking LOVE it. The pewter reads as a neutral and makes red pop in just a cool way. I love love love it. I work in tv and can tell you this fall the color scheme will be red, electric blue and electric pink off beige or COPPER. Lots of copper. And red satin kitten heels, for some reason. I don’t like the association with “red shoes” and hollywood but I like kitten heels lol

I’m thinking of epoxy for my countertops. I hear it holds up well and I think it looks nice. I actually hate the look of marble. 😬 Quartz is nice, though also pricey.
Painting is an option, but to increase its longevity, pre work needs to be done

I’ve been in homes where the wood kitchen cabinets were painted white and the regular wear and tear shows through and it looks awful

I had an Int. Design biz 4 39 years, yet never worked a day in my life. It was my drug. I never advertised. Best thing I never did. Peeps would seek/hunt Me down, to do there home like an animal. Loved all 40 years of it. I would do it again n a heartbeat. I do admit, I was good, and pricey. And when peeps pay big bucks, they exspect perfict. QAnd that is what made My name... Perfection. As long as u provide that, they will pay!!!
I'm considering replacing all of my flooring which is part wood, part linoleum, and part Hardwood. Can I paint hardwood floors and have them last

Cabinet hardware is not inexpensive, it can cost hundreds of $$$$$.
Vinyl flooring, the wood look, is not luxury but the cheapest “wood” flooring.
Paint is fine if done well, but if folk painted just to sell, they most likely did not prepare the surface properly and did not do a professional job. One needs to wash with TSP, rinse, sand it, prime it, one can’t, then 2 nd coat, and sometimes a 3 rd coat is needed. Most folk I know never do all these stages.

A paint wash over tiles can totally transform a room without completely hiding the original tile. I would do this any day 😊. Also, based on the comments I find it bizarre that something as simple as a painted tile in one room would put people off buying a house (even though spending hundreds of thousands of dollars/pounds etc for a property, seems mad to me). People ask about small detail rather than how old are the electrics, roof, boiler/heating system etc etc.
Dated? My furnishings are dated-- some antiques and the rest high quality replications. Much better than the IKEA-like furnishings that make a house look like a cheaply decorated medial office; My stuff is timeless and classy not trendy and tacky.
Please suggest for grey ,blue& brown as 60,30,10 respectively

NEVER PAINT REAL WOOD! Wood has a grain for a reason! Cheap laminate, fine, but white trim just screams 'no imagination', especially when EVERYONE is doing white trim. If your vintage bathroom has vintage tile, paint the sheetrock to accent the tile. My sister-in-law used to paint with her Dad, commercial & residential interiors, she still does it as a side job on the weekends, she won't paint paneling or cabinets. She said painting paneling is the worst because no matter how many coats of primer you use, within a few years, it soaks into the grain of the paneling & you can see the stripes peaking through the paint & they need to be painted again, like painting aluminum siding, once you start, it's now a never-ending job. Get rid of carpet if you can. Hard wood floors... NEVER tear them out then replace or cover with cheap laminate, then brag about saving money because you're spending more than you save. You can replace sections with strips from architectural salvage places.
