Thank you. I was holding my breath hoping you'd say Revere Pewter. Yaay. I just did my exterior in Revere Pewter and used black accents. I love this color because I can change my decks (outdoor rugs) etc. to anything at anytime and it will still go together.

Thanks for your effort, the video is great! My house looks great. It is 30 years old. The front face is beige brick wall. The original design is beige and white garage door. I want to change the color. Which one is more suitable for my house, light beige or gray, With dark accents or white accents? Can I use hale navy for garage door or enter door?Please give some help, thanks

We are building a house in Florida and were thinking about going with the color Cumulus Cloud (1550) by Benjamin Moore for the exterior. Do you have any experience with this color?

We want to go either Benjamin Moore White Dove or Behr Palais as the body color, and want to go white on white, what would your recommend as a trim white?

What color white trim is use or recommended w/ Creekside Green. I love this sample of your! Thank you

If you want a bright, crisp looking white trim, try BM Swiss Coffee or BM White Dove. For a softer looking white with Creekside Green, try BM Dove Wing or Ballet White. You could also try a light greige.

Do you have a post on dash of pepper????

Hi Melissa, I love Peppercorn Gray and chose that color with Swiss Coffee trim for my home. Time to touch up though, thinking of changing together but probably will stick with Peppercorn, its still in good shape and only 5 years old. I think most paint is good for 10 years? I have Repose Gray throughout my home. Thanks for the video.

Peppercorn is a beautiful dark gray color for exteriors, and is a great way to set the mood for your Repose Gray interior. Depending on the quality of your paint job, I think a refresh every 5-10 years is a good rule of thumb. Thanks for your comment!

I wish i could post a Photo. We have a Home here in Costa rica we have just been renovating. The color right now is kind of a milky cream with a red tin roof. No trim on the windows here. I was just searching to see if i could find an app to help me decide on a paint color to no avail.....So i am in a dilema lol

Chelsea Gray tends to work really well with brick and red tile roofs, so it would be a good one for you to try

No, BM White Dove is the trim color for these images.

Thank you so much for posting this video. we just build our house near San Diego, beach view, which of this colors would you recommend for exterior, we already paint the interior with swiss coffee (OC-45), and the door with whyte blue (HC-143)... my wife really likes stonington gray

Stonington Gray is a great choice. A light greige like Collingwood would also look great with white trim and Wythe Blue on the door.

Thank yo so much for your advice and taking your time to answer us.

We are considering Hale Navy for the body of our house. What sheen do you suggest? The paint store is says to use low lustre and that flat is not washable. They also say we will have less fading issues with low lustre. We had originally planned on using flat for the house body and low lustre for the trim.

Hale Navy is a beauty! Low lustre or satin works well for exteriors.

Do you think the Hale Navy would look good with some red brick? Like the Chimney, for example.

BM White Dove is very pretty with Hale Navy. If that looks too bright on your exterior, you can also give BM China White (aka Seapearl) a try.

Our condo(7 storeys) will be painting this year, we want a gray that would look fantastic, we have red brick. And dark brown railings with glass on balcony, any suggestions?

Sherwin-Williams Dovetail is a great choice with red brick. For BM colors, you might try Kendall Charcoal and Chelsea Gray

Would Boothbay Gray work with a lighter gray roof shingles like GAF Birchwood?

Those colors can work together, but the overall look might be too monotone and washed out. You'd want to create contrast with white, black, or wood accents.

I've had a Sag Harbor Gray fence for over 10 years. I love it. I'm looking for a slightly cooler, grey green slate colour with a slightly lower LRV. Any suggestions?

@@welshdesignstudio HI thanks for your kind reply. I've chosen Sandy Hook Gray and started painting over the Sag Harbor Gray. It's quite a subtle neutral light taupe and looks quite fresh.

So I took your advice on White Dove for my exterior from a previous video you posted. Now it does look a little too yellow. I painted my roof tiles to iron ore like you said it would go great with white dove. now tomorrow I’m about to paint my trim and fascia should I do the same iron ore or pure black tricorn black ! I don’t want it to look more yellow 😩

Sorry that White Dove is looking too yellow for you. It's always best to get samples of paint colors and try them on your home before committing to one. Iron Ore or Tricorn Black are both very neutral, and should not alter the creaminess that you're seeing from White Dove. You could get a sample of each and see which one looks best to you with the roof and body color.

@@welshdesignstudio thank you for your reply. I ended up getting tricorn black for the trim and it looks amazing now that it’s all completed 🤩 no more yellow! And yes I did get samples I’m a painting contractor and I always recommend getting samples too. Thank you for your help. It took us almost a year to decide which black and white to go with. Your videos helped a lot.

Hello, I have a contemporary home that has limestone split stone and slab stone on it. The roof is gray tile. I have to pick a stucco color that will coordinate with all of this and I’m at a total loss. Any suggestions of BM or SW would be greatly appreciated!

It's hard to suggest colors without seeing a picture, but I'll offer some ideas. Soft, warm whites work well with limestone and gray. You could try BM White Dove or BM Seapearl. Another option is to "match" the limestone so that it looks like a texture (doesn't stand out on its own). A greige like BM Revere Pewter or SW Accessible Beige might work for that. You could also go darker with a charcoal like BM Kendall Charcoal, which should work well with both your stone and roof.

Hi Melissa - We're looking for a nice blue-gray color for our home's exterior. We used Black Pepper 8 years ago when we last painted our house and I think it has purple undertones. What would you suggest instead?

Do not use BM Coronado paint. Very poor performance for exterior even though it says "interior/exterior".

A cold "gray" world you are recommending, how depressing
