    Great video!! I found an offer for a pair of used A7Vs just under 1 year old for 800€ in total, but I was told that the Evo Alpha twins are far better, have you ever tried them? What do you think?

  • @JacobDarkOfficial

    I've only used the Alpha 65 Evo which are really good but if you already have the A7Vs these are also just as good in their own way, I'd call it a day be happy and move on

    These days, I'm testing an Alienware 32-inch 4K curved QD-OLED, and I'm enjoying it. However, I'm also considering the Samsung S80SD and the new LG 32GQ950. Which one would you advise, or should I stick with the Alienware? I play casual games on PS5 and also use it for productivity.

    Is it worth of spending $1000 for BOSE 900 plus another $900 for Bose 700 base module or $600 for JBL 500 for watching( Indian ) new movies and English and Indian music videos to enjoy the great sound like cristal deep music quality 🤔 if you can I am Dolby surround with great base music lover

    Jacob, thanks for this video - how does this compare to the Asus Rog PG32UCDM? In the UK the Alienware is £910 whereas the PG32UCDM is £1400. Is the Asus worth an extra £490 compared to this is the question for most Europeans? It's similar insane pricing elsewhere across Europe and further east..

    The issue I have with the Clarett+8Pre is the headphone jacks at the front don't work unless you sacrifice either outputs 7+8 or 9+10. I had no idea when purchasing the interface. All my outputs are committed to external gear so the headphone jacks at the front are useless. Why on earth would focusrite do this is beyond me. Makes no sense. I will be selling it and picking up the quantum at some point. Thanks for the video.

    I have this monitor and it’s amazing. The only thing someone has legit worry about would be if its warranty in general isn’t enough for their liking. On the merits though, this monitor “goes hard” as the cool kids say. Completely happy with it and the colors and blacks and it’s very smooth. I have zero issues with pairing or wakeups or whatever else people use to trash this monitor….its user error folks. Mine wakes up fine, wakes up from pc fine, stays on pc input etc. people just don’t go through settings….

    I sort of feel like the softness caused by the monitor antiglare coating acts like natural anti-aliasing in a way. I previously had a miniled monitor with antiglare coating then bought an Alienware 32 inch QD oled and now I sort of wish I had that coating again. I can see direct reflection right behind me and it bothers me.

    Jacob How does the DAC of the Presonus stack up against the Audient id24?

  • @JacobDarkOfficial
    @JacobDarkOfficial2 күн бұрын

    Subjective but to my ears the Presonus sounds louder and punchier probably because I barely push the HD 8 to about 25% gain to get a nice loud environment while I have to raise the gain on the iD24s big knob closer to 70% to get around the same loudness.

    I am looking at buying a new chair for my miniature painting. I have broken 3 chairs over the last 4 years, all failed in the same way: the hole that the piston fits in on the tilt mechanism, I snap the metal and the welds around that hole. I am a body builder, I weigh almost 18 stone/114kg/251lbs so I need a strong chair, but I can't find any information regarding whether there is reinforcement around the problem area on Secretlabs XL chairs. Their chat wasn't much help, either. They told me that the piston is heavier duty compared to their regular chair, but I don't have any problems with the piston itself, just where it fits into the tilt mechanism. I'm not sure whether it is worth spending almost £600 on the chair if all they upgrade is the piston.

  • @JacobDarkOfficial
    @JacobDarkOfficial3 күн бұрын

    While I don't weigh as much as you what I can say is through my personal experience owning multiple chairs and all the complaints I've ever seen online, I've never seen anyone have your specific problem with the tilt mechanism. If I were a betting man I'd say you should be safe but of course there's no real way to know except to try it out. Should you decide to buy I'd appreciate you using my link. Let me know if have more questions.

    I think they went back to usb c due to the new weird thunderbolt crap intel has been doing now. Apperently it is not going to work backward compatible? I think maybe they knew this and went back to usb. I used usb for years and never had issues with latency. Even tracking with plug ins. A good cpu is the key and keep your sample and buffer not crazy high.

    Interesting to talk about quality when only after 1 year of use there are creaks and noises. I've had a cheap office depot chair which granted isn't very comfortable, but has been rock solid for about 3 years and is still in the same condition as when I bought it. The warranty is good, but the best warranty is the one you never have to use. I expect some issues with cheaper chairs, but spending $500+ and having issues...no thanks.
