I just bought Drill + Impact + 2 bat, charger and a bag for C$99 They are really compact and good in my hand I have Makita sub compact too that one is also great
is it me the hammer 14z has problems i just skip makita when it comes to hammer drills any recommendations
LifeTime warranty is pretty sweet on the Metabo but if the Makita never fails, I prefer the reliability . I’ve used my Makita tools for 30 years and I’ve only had to replace one angle grinder after my worker totally abused it and didn’t clean it after working with stone. Just bought my first makita impact wrench to leave in my SUV as I’ve changed 2 tires in 1 week on my wife’s Camry . Manual work is difficult. Using an impact wrench cut my tire changing time in 2/3.
why does the yellow one look like a brass shotgun shell 😭😭😭
Great video. I like mine but I'm having trouble running my cooler. It powers off if the cooler doesn't kick in. Is there an eco mode that I should turn off? Any ideas?
I've picked up brad nailers in Craftsman & Metabo HPT for $100 or less on sale as well as a Milwaukee stapler. But I have yet to find a deal like that on a framing nailer. I have a pneumatic that I can use for now until I find a super deal on a framer.
If it cuts, drills, drives, does it really matter? Career users will obviously shoot for more quality tools cause they use em all the time. Me I own some basic tools to do some side work for more income and some mild home repair!
I have a set of stubby and they are great for tight spaces. Great tools
I have a Bauer cordless pole saw , I have never used that enough in one day to run one battery down. I’ve had it three years and use it all the time and I seen another reviewer on here that said it had the 21,700 Samsung cells like Milwaukee uses.
I'll take metabo 7days a week and twice on Sundays over snap on and the like
Thorogood isn’t that good. I’ve been wearing mine for 8 months straight for 16 hours a day, I have to buy different insoles and my feet are still killing me by the 8th hour. They just look good I just bought these brunt’s, I can’t wait to try them!
Reminds me of atwoods it you know what that is
I have 3 of these boxes. It might be one of the best boxes around $200.
Hitachi was bought out by Metabo, they don't replace sku#s with Lowe's. The Hitachi was LIFETIME . They probably forgot to update their specs, or the rep that deals with Lowe's probably never told them or sent over new specs. BUT that means LOWE'S has to honor their website specs in store either way. Do not go tip them off😊
Take the drawers out it's easier to pick up
No links to item?
It's the first link in the description.
American men tie their masculinity to products, whether it be trucks, tools, guns, etc. Funny behavior. They'll weigh 300 lbs and eat fast food full of estrogen and start growing breasts, but if their wife brings home a Ryobi tool she got on clearance They'll refuse to use it the 3 times they need to hang pictures a year.
My nephew has one in which he bought second hand. Its awesome for large areas! 40 bucks is absolutely amazing. Cheers from Australia
Looks like a great travel tool set to keep on my trailer. DON’T GREASE the ratchets. Grease dries out and gums up the ratchets. Keep them oiled with a quality oil like sewing machine oil. Cheers!
Junk mine fell apart in 4 months
I have been using the DTD173 for the last 2 months, and after using this long I could not go back to anything else and would be happy to pay the higher price. Don't cheap out guys, it's worth every penny!
I’m an hvac tech in Florida I use Veto pro pac backpack and Milwaukee user don’t see many over here 😂
This old ass video smh take this mess down got me all excited for nothing
Bro you up north that’s how every store is stocked 😂
I had no idea, I want to move back up north!
This guy is really nicely made,, and I keep him hanging on it's magnet close by just incase in goes black from power failure, and up to 3 times a night has happened. One angry Samsung bigscreen doesn't like it. So this guy doesn't get used, but spot check of battery will find it takes 7 minutes to go green. So I'd advise the same every 2 weeks to check, or you might get caught off guard. And I check all the others as well often, and it's always the same results. There must some micro circuit that keeps the battery active, letting it run down. Cheers
mastercraft is from sears, canadian tire still sells them. you should put the lifetime warranty to the test
Great video! How do you find it performs on hills?
I love this store as well. Shout out from Rhinelander..
Yes I love to visit this store 😊😊😊😊😊
Whoa, was there twice yesterday.
Crown cutting capacity, is a question. flatness of the base, place a straight edge and see if there are any issues there. that would be nice to know. vertical capacity is really what I'm more worried about
The only ryobi tool I've had problems with is the Sawzall. Gone through 3 of them in less than a year. Every other ryobi tool I have I use daily, for work, and have had no issues
Hi there! Does this one have the full ring light instead of two leds on the side?
No, the only one that does is the TD173 from Japan, expected to be the XDT21.
Interesting review. Thanks for sharing. I'm surprised at the low number of thumbs up. I use cordless tools from several brands, from Makita, Ryobi, Hikoki and cheap, supermarket brands. I did consider adaptors when I started buying Ryobi tools as, although the tools themselves are very reasonably priced, the batteries are often more expensive than the tools. However, when I looked into adaptors, they seemed to leave the tool looking bulky and unbalanced. On top of that, the cost of knock off batteries for the various brands convinced me to go down that path instead. Are they as good as the genuine batteries? Probably not. I have not had any problems with the Makita, or Ryobi third party batteries: they charge, hold a charge, and work flawlessly. I would consider an adaptor so that I could use the Parkside batteries on other tools, as they are so cheap, but I've not seen an adaptor that would perform that task. Anyway, as said, thanks for sharing your experience with these adaptors.
Bad customer service, must be a ten man business, from Mass
Does it have automatic cut off
Thanks for Video- my lessons learned: 1. So frustrated by drawers not opening. Turns out there is a finger bar unser each handle that U slide the right and they work just fine. 2. unit does not fully square up until near the last step when you put on the 4 inch top interior brackets. think through this and put the handle and struts on last. 3. since bolt heads are smooth, seat them and done pressure them too much from the nut side. hammer the heads in a bit if they won't seat on own. 4. note drawers will not open if top is closed.
Just got mine
the Metabo is better build Quality by far I own Both these nailers the Milwaukee is on its 3rd warranty the metabo no issues at all with it and it gets used the most plus it also got left out in teh rain by one of my employee's over the week end last week and still works no issues ..METABO has a superior IP rating on there internal electronics and motors and the body composition is rated for more impact resistance and set the depth properly on the Metabo your depth was not adjusted properly but the Milwaukee does have more power but Durability sucks and the Metabo is lighter and smaller and better warranty Life time on that nailer and they cover water damage or damage from moisture ..Milwaukee NO water damage o moisture damage coverage your not supposed to use any other there tools out side or on construction sites
Store your lithium batteries in a cool location (room temperature) at 50% charge. If you keep them in a hot location fully charged or depleted, the batteries will lose capacity and will not last for a long time.
Best tool investment I’ve ever made!
Nice got the same one wen they first came out still have it
In Denmark the vacumcleaner is the same price as a milwaukee. I have the milwaukee at work and makita at home. Makita is just better. The indicator is outside on the milwaukee indside
It’s crazy that the pencil marks that we’re use to divide the tests held up the best if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
My RTIC 75 quart rolling ultralight lid warps in the summer heat. Some days its reaaaallly bad. In a fully iced cooler that was already cold from previous ice, it holds ice maybe 4 days by when 95% of it is melted. Ive noticed too that even when the lid gap looks okay, not warped much, if i remove the water drain, it lets water out. It doesnt suck in air through the drain, showing its not fully sealed. Thats even with a ratchet strap clamping the top down to keep it as flat as possible. A little irritating
If I'm in and out of it a 2-3 times a day the ice lasts about 3
72*
Appreciate the reviews. Waiting until Jan or Feb or maybe black Friday to pick one up.
beware....they may be programmed to self discharge so that if you forget to charge it for a little while (30 days or so) then they self drain completely then the IC chip marks the battery dead for good. This is not a cheap battery and I'm a bit suspicious of the self discharge rate. We'll soon know if lots of complaints of HF Hercules batteries going dead after little use start popping up on YT etc.
I LOVE my Hart stack system. Seriously, half the price to build one of these vs most other brands. Plus, the fact that they didn't half ass this system like others is fantastic. So much versatility in terms of how you can build this one to fit your needs 🙏
Thanks for uploading this. I’m watching it 11 months later, so I can anticipate deals this Independence Day. 👍
Worst tool color ever…didn’t have many woodworking tools when I bought. Don’t know or care now.
