Like your video but there is something I need to point out. What you did is not wrong, just not how it was intended to be used. You did not put the hook that would be, in your case attached to the rafters all the way through the TieBoss. There is the hook end and the longer secure end. Push it all the way through where the longer squiggly end is on the TieBoss and hook end attaches to the rafters. Best way I can describe it. That was if your TieBoss falls in the water the hook does not come off. Thanks for the video.

Can the silver hook be fed through the tie boss so the tie boss sits in the circular part of the hook instead of the hook end?

Looks like you need a rake with a rope attached to throw out in the water & drag some water Lillie's out. Your water looks very still

Normally when the water level is higher it covers most of the lillie's, but we haven't had a good rain here in central Florida in months. It's gonna be a bad hurricane season.
