Dear sir lovely work, how do you conect both half wind together with dihedral?

I wouldn't buy into the carbin fiber info you heard. Carbon fiber gets its strength from multiple cross hatched layers held together with epoxy. Better off using just Monikote or typical laminating film.

I have a set of similar foam balsa covered wings. Too heavy and wounder if there is an easy way to cut holes to lighten the wing.

Hi Dave... I usually install aileron hinge line as 2 quarter inch pieces in the foam before I sheet the wing. I mark the hinge line with a T-Pin at each end of the hinge line, cut off so they just protrude through the balsa skin. After the sheeting glue has dried, you can line up a straight edge with the pins and cut through the skin on both sides to free up the aileron.

The wing can be fiberglassed and painted after sheeting but I usually cover the wings with Monokote. The wing shown in this video ended up weighing 11.9 oz with a JR 9411 servo and linkage (Ready to Fly).

Love your building style. I'd love to see how you put the skin on now that the wing and skins are prep'd also how you open the skin for the servo and separate the aileron from the wing.

The only damage was the left wheel pant that was broken by a large weed just before the plane came to a stop! Joe just plugged in the ailerons and flew it again. lol Good example of how skill and a little (or maybe a LOT) of good luck can sometimes overcome carelessness! :)
