    You would need a certified barf bag to use a Casper Harness over a Cruz Harness.

    Why you using a Casper’s harness that’s made wrong per the manufacturer?

    Great topic! Can you help us with more information? What's incorrect about the Casper's harness?

  • @SteelCityDrones

    @@wattsperformance Dev I can jump in here, Holly requires power and ground direct to the battery without ground blocks or power distribution blocks. Caspers harness does not go direct to the battery and utilizes power distribution blocks. Holly also requires shielded cable on crucial sensors for CAM, Crank, and Wide band. Caspers does not use shielded cable.

    @@wattsperformance Dev, your 2 choices are Caspers or Cruz, like I mentioned in another post, Cruz's process is completely over the top notch. If you visited their shop you would see for yourself. Let me be completely transparent with you. I am a total anal nut when it comes to what I put on my car. I am very hard to please with what I am willing to put on the car. Cruz has great S**T, can tspeak any higher for Don's stuff. call my office if you want to talk in detail. Take care Dave.

    Do you use the Cruz headers or another brand?

  • @wattsperformance
    @wattsperformance9 күн бұрын

    Great question. For this particular package, our go to headers are the TA Performance Stock Replacement Headers. They simply fit, the hardware and gasket kit is nice, + these headers are the most cost effective headers that fit. We've tried every header on the market. Few fit without surgery. Regarding the Cruz stock replacement headers, they are a nice alternative solution. They've made some positive changes, and they fit. I recommend a "stock replacement header" for those under 650 horsepower. Once you go over that, it's time to consider a race style header with longer primaries. "Primary" Reason: The shorter primaries found on the stock style headers will create excessive heat, which in turn will prematurely crack the headers. - 🧑🏾‍🎤 Dev

  • @SteelCityDrones
    @SteelCityDrones9 күн бұрын

    @@wattsperformance Dev: I've used Cruz stock replacement headers with 3 bolt flange and they fit perfect and didn't have any issues. I also have their headers for 4 bolt Turbo flange and their entire kit is by far the best I have seen out of anyone. I've also used their 3 and 3.5 inch downpipes and they are perfect. The 3.5 inch downpipe fit without any issues or modifications. I've also been to Cruz's shop and see how they make all their headers. They bolt each set on a mach up motor before they go out. Their attention to detail is second to none for Headers and the wiring harnesses. You should take a trip to Tampa and visit their shop, you won't find any vendor better for these products.

    Been watching your videos now for a while. I"m glad to see that you are trying to step up to the next level. I hope you guys can break into the 8's as it should not be hard for the changes you made. I know you are learning as you go to play at a high level and I have to ask you a question. Mega Squirt seems like a very interesting choice. I"m curious why did you went that route? I know several guys that switched from ECUGN to Holly because they had no transmission control and ECUGN is essentially Megasquirt. How are you controlling your 4L80?

    So you stopped because you couldn’t get CO2 on the dyno? Say what? You can easily command more boost pressure on top of the wastegate thru your boost controller. CO2 just helps spool faster on the starting line. Please have experienced tuners/racers help you set this car up. Also in my opinion you are making a mistake turning this nice clean car into a race car removing AC and such. Find a high miles gbody.

  • @wattsperformance
    @wattsperformanceАй бұрын

    Thanks for your expert opinion. Here are a few questions for you: 1️⃣ Would you personally invest time and resources into a tune, that's not going to be setup 🔎[exactly] how you want it? 🙅🏽‍♂️ Not us! CO2 does more than just help on the starting line. It completely alters the spool up characteristics throughout the entire MAP. You can't tune a car with one pressure source (manifold) and then come back with another pressure source (CO2)and expect the tune to be spot on without any hiccups. Sure, you can keep going, hit the numbers, and find short term solutions. Best practice is to resolve the issue and schedule another Dyno session when everything is exactly how YOU, (the owner of the car) wants it to be. 2️⃣ You are right... Based on what you temporarily see here, the AC lines have been removed. However, did you notice that the car has a brand new compressor? Perhaps, (just maybe) we have immediate plans to build custom AC lines. Thanks for your comment. Keep them rolling.

  • @AngeloRe-wo7iq
    @AngeloRe-wo7iqАй бұрын

    Not following your logic. “If” that’s the case why would you not overnight parts to get what you need? Instead you drive to the Nats to run on wastegate? A tuneup and setup you will never run?

  • @wattsperformance
    @wattsperformanceАй бұрын

    @@AngeloRe-wo7iqthat's another great question. The plan wasn't to race the car this year. We simply wanted to bring the car and enjoy our Turbo Buick community. This was our priority for this year: kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKZ8q9SpddLVkpc.htmlsi=CU_qVjKdvmQXzXE-
