@markhallen2265 hi Mark, It's good to hear from you. Guess what. I was using the midges I made from the tools somebody gave me, you know who😄
Bo where are you from? Socal?
Yes
is tioga pass to Yosemite open already?
Yes, as of 6/14.
So beautiful
Bo Knows !!!
Brother! Why is shower room small? I think we can not in side, brother? Why?
It's a good size for the van. You put bigger it takes up the space. It does fit us even though it looks small.
Oh! I just see, brother.
Nice
Wow! You have saved me a lot of headache as I tried to figure out these wires...until I saw your video. The directions that came with the unit was absolutely a joke! Thank you so much!
You're welcome. Glad it helped
Im about to build the exact bench/bad and going to follow all your instruction. Thanks for all your videos!!
Have fun building 😊
Ho Bo where are you live, what city and state?
I'm in Long Beach, CA
Hi Bo, are you using 2020 series aluminum or the 10 series? Thank you.
10 series
Great video as usual Bo: why not placing the shore power inlet on the driver side because most of the outside circulation in a van is between the sliding door and the rear doors.
Thank you. Because that is the closest area to the battery. The driver side is all the plumbing.
Very nicely done! And thanks for taking the time to give us the links!
Thank you
So so beautiful , thanks for sharing M. Bo Chuon.
Beautiful
So many beautiful places! Happy Camping!
I installed a Velit recently as well. A couple of things I learned on the install. When you install the studs into the AC unit you should use the supplied nuts to lock the studs in place then use the nylon locking nuts to secure the AC to the cross members. The other thing that I did was to re-route the power wires by pulling the wires into the case and drilling new port holes on the side for the wiring harness. The wires are pretty short when left outside of the unit and this made it much easier to connect to the wiring harness with fuse boxes. The mesh panel pops out easily to give access to the case. I'm still trying to figure out how to wire this so that I can use a Bluetti so I haven't tested it yet.
Thanks for the tip Jason.
Does it fit on passanger?
Yes
@@BoChuonOUTDOORSVANBUILD u dont mind sendling link please thank u
Hi brother you so skill and video is clear too.
Thank you brother
Looking good, Bo
😮
Can you tell me about drilling the pilot holes? What size bit did you use? We’re also worried about drilling too far and hitting the glass.
Can you tell me about drilling the pilot holes? What size bit did you use? We’re also worried about drilling too far and hitting the glass.
I don't know what size of bid I used on this but make sure it's not bigger than the screw. There's a chanel that you drill the pilot holes make sure you drill through that about 3/4" deep.
I have tried 2 of these cheap US Solid valves and they both failed after a year. How long did your last?
Really? I have one from 2016 and still working.
Was that an outdoor application? That’s really good.
What do you use when you’re connecting two 80/20 adjacent each other like 11. Side to side?
Thanks for asking. This are hardwares for exterior corner connection. T-nut to slide in the channel amzn.to/3yss5tR M5 x 10mm bolt amzn.to/4ax3CAO Coner Brace amzn.to/3wKuUWD
I think the word I was looking for was flat brace. Basically a 2” brace with 2 holes at the center lines of 2 aluminum extrusion. The ones on Amazon aren’t there and tnuts is still kinda expensive. What do you use for those types of connections?
I think Tnuts are least expensive. The flat angle brackets run about $2-$4 a piece. Check out the accessories here www.tnutz.com/aff-id/bchuon66/
When your attaching wood in the outside frame how do you locate the spot to drill your screw in?
Thanks for another great and informative video, Bo!
Hi Mike, thanks
Thanks Bo! Good info.
Nice to see that even the pros make mistakes! Good install, Bo!
🤣🤣
I installed Velit to my van. It is great A/C unit !!
Thanks for sharing.
Just curious are you for hire or partial conversions?
Just a hobby 😊
you said that the metal wall panel will be hot or code depending on outside temperature, then why not using wood, as we all do? is there any particular reason for that?
Yes, the owner would like to keep those panels due the second bed setup and extra walls space saving.

Yes, need you to come and help me
Productive day !!
Very nice modification!
Any issues with the bunk window screen rattling when you drive? Mine don’t seem to sit snug even if I tighten the screws on the two pieces that hold the screen in place.
No issue here
What brand solar panels and dimensions
Those are Renogy amzn.to/4bdJQLM
Great video Bo! I was turned off by 80/20, but now I’m all about it for uppers.
Hi Bo. Do you use extrusion series 15 on any item or is it strictly series 10 for everything?
I'm using 10 series only for the van.
I put mine black side out. Looks better.
Going good so far.
My mans has been catching trophies pro anglers dream about without even breaking a sweat
Nice
Can't hear you
Sorry, because of the wind
