  I installed a 1650 on 7040 and it shows up in device manager after installing the driver, but games are not using it. Any ideas? Thanks.

  The 1650 Super is significantly faster than the regular 1650. In some ways, it is a different card, even though they are both marketed as 1650 cards. Definitely get the Super version if you can.

  nice video,i'm not sure but i don't think the RX6650XT is going to work due to lenovo stupid gpu whitelist system integrated into their BIOS. i'd love to hear how it went in your case did it work ?

  Well, I got demonetized on KZread and I just haven't had time to do more videos, but I did use the RX 6650 XT in the computer. It ran great, but the card way too big to even close the case, so I had to run benchmarks with the case open. You might be able to it in, but it would take some serious modifications to the case.   Thanks for the reply, Yeah these computers are a burden to upgrade; You gotta make sacrifices. Maybe I will consider getting a RTX3050 lp 6GB at the moment, I don't think my little Lenovo deserves better haha

  Yes, the i7 would be a little faster than the i5, but not a huge difference.

  No, I tried to drop in a 3200G and it didn't even recognize it with the most current bios.

  I was just troubleshooting why it wouldn't do dual chanel RAM when I found the bent pins. Since the memory controller is on the CPU, I figured I would reseat the CPU and see if that helps.

  It does seem like such a glaring thing for the writers to overlook, when it's at the beginning of the scene when the name thing is brought up. But it doesn't exactly not make sense for one of the rank-and-file dudes to slip up and use the guy's name in an emotional moment, and it still makes sense for them to react like this when it's their _leader_ explicitly countermanding the previous rules he himself set up. Like the guys around the mook might've chided him for saying "Bob", but when the leader starts explicitly saying he has a name, it only makes sense to try to harmonize it as a new rule

  I cut a hole in the bottom of an inspiron case and used magnets and mesh to filter for the gpu. Helped cool the whole pc down about 10 degrees.

  I have the same PC and for some reason my PCH is getting very hot. Its running at 55c under no load and cranks up to over 85c when running Second Life. Any ideas on how to cool it? Maybe a stick on heat sink?

  I don't think this is a continuity error unless the book explicitly depicted the scene as them saying, "they shot our brother" or something generic. Rather, what this illustrates is that the members of Project Mayhem still have some humanity left, even if their capacity for critical thinking has been ultimately suppressed in ironic fashion at this point. I should dig up my DVD's and go back to the commentary tracks to see if the crew was aware of this supposed discrepancy or if it meant anything to them.

  Yes, you will need a CPU with integrated graphics. It's hard to recommend an i9 in thie Deskmini with a 120w power supply. It will still be fast, but not as fast as it could be. Thanks for watching!

  Yeah, a GTX 1650 is probably the best GPU for this PC. It will be a big upgrade over the 1050 Ti.

  This card doesn't need external power. It gets all of the power from the PCI-E slot.

  I can't find my benchmark results/footage and I already sold the PC. I will still try to put a follow up video together, but I can confidently say the 6650 XT was way too powerful for this system. I ended up going with a 1660 Ti. Thanks for watching!

  I love these little TFX cases. I have an old dell vostro 200 I plan on turning into a sleeper build but I'm also worried about cooling since it only have a single 80mm slim fan and the stock intel cpu cooler of the time. Im thinking I might use either some 40mm noctua fans to help pull more air in or possibly consider a simple watercooling loop using an 80mm Radiator.

  I never followed up on this video, mostly because I switched cases because I needed a bigger GPU. I love these TFX cases, too. I might revisit it now that the low profile 4060 is out. I did end up running an i7 10700 in this case for a while. I found an 92mm AIO from Asetek and put it perpendicular in the case and cut some intake/exhaust vents. Worked great for the few months I used it. Thanks for watching!

  plex is a great way to interface with the tuners. their plex pro can be had for a one time fee and it can run on an old dell with a decent size hard drive

  If you can do the 1650 Super and use a 2 SATA to PCI-E adapter , it should be OK. Your power supply probably doesn't have an external PCI-E power connector. That would be the best way.

  If you can find an A2000 or a RTX 3050 6gb, that might be your best shot with Nvidia. Or go with an Arc A380.
