NOTE!!! Waiakamilo Drive In has shut down.....few months ago, a new owner took its place and its NOW called Lucky Box (i think..) Drive In. New owners/operators greet you warmly and the food is hefty!!! Every so often they have weekly specials on a board outside and its pretty cheap, $10.99 a plate

Am only Slightly prejudicial... Towards Tanya's... 1) Live w/in walking distance(<5mins) 2)Quick, friendly service 3)Loyal customer since Day 1...2017(?) 4) Inexpensive/tasty menu. Regular menu, including pies...<$25 5) Along w/Shige's Saimin & Seoul Food Kitchen, Best dollar value eatery in 96786/96789 area...But, then again...am Prejudiced!😅

3 yrs huh.....ok, supplies (forks, knives, spoons , plates, napkins, cups, box for the plate or them biodegradable ones), actual food source, that and paying the distributing company to deliver the goods, utilities (electricity, water, propane if they use, phone bill if they still use landline) and one of the most important ones, PAYING your workers and as of 2024, the minimum jumps to $14 hr.....oh, btw...one more....if mgmt does alot of marketing, they have to use a pr firm to help sales.

So true rating, because the drawback is the Teri beef. It's sad because back in the very early 1980's, their Teri beef was very good...now, not so much.

Do to the location, Ray's can keep their cost down to be slightly more reasonable. Although the location doesn't have much parking at all...the only drawback.

They went from tasty beef to cheap cuts and not tasty. Used to be mahi now its hoki. But the bad part is the price has sky rocketed. I remember when it was under $10 now it is $14.30 and the taste does not warrant the price. I used to eat zip pacs all the time now i wont even bother with zippys.

The roast pork with fried rice and crispy gau is Fantastic at Roast Duck in Aiea shopping center. No Mac salad but the food is Yummy
