Eric, what would be the benefits of running the dual plane over a single plane for street / racing . I am wanting to get one of the Chinese copy’s of an Edelbrock air gap manifold but I can seem to find a copy of the performer rpm air gap. And the only air gap copy I can find is the Victor Jr. air gap copy.

Something that rarely gets covered in these tests is carburetor changes and tuning. A larger CFM, Annular boosters and tuning would change quite a bit of the outcome. The AirGap wouldn't be able to utilize the extra air volume but would be much more in line with recommendations for the Victor Jr. This type of testing is "step one" of dozens of tests needed to draw the multiple conclusions on these setups. Using the same carb and no tuning is like using the same tires on both a quarter mile vehicle and on a road course! Great video but lets see the other 98% also.

look at the intake manifold ports with a gasket to see if Manifold and head come even close to matching. I found the RPM is perfect port matched to the heaed wher as the Vict Jr and Super Vic really need port work at openings

Used all of these one time or another agreed dual planes are impressive especially on heavy drivers, also used the jnr tall version in a very mild 350 z25 isky 10.5 comp glide 3500 convertor 4.50 and 28 " tires 3 years 11.os best 10.85 Sydney dragway cold night.

Where would I find a Edelbrack intake ? I have. Winter's Aluminum Oldsmobile 442. W-30 intake as well as a Edelbrock Torker but never heard of Edelbrack good video though.

hi my brother brought one a red one in 1964/65 in the UK with a blown gearbox dynaflow I think, we repaired it then my brother made a towbar for it and it became our tow car we would set of with 4 adult 4 kids mk 1 lotus cortina on the trailer all the camping gear and spares tools for weekend racing, I sleeped acros the front seat girle friend on the back seat kids in the back, Great car I did a full head rebuild on I was just 16 years old, andy

My 2020 Silverado 5.3 supposedly makes 355hp stock, and it feels like it. I’d imagine a cam, lifters (DOD/AFM) delete, and a different intake and it’d be a great little engine.

a 3/8" open spacer will help any regular dual plane make air gap power numbers

If you have a motor that spins 8000 rpm then I wouldn’t recommend using a dual plane no matter what brand it is

Well the Quad adapter makes it an open plenum so your chasing your tail for an accurate test.

Those water outlets are for front to back flow on each side if you look at the way they are used for short track circle tracks.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-(((

Good to go back in time!.....My setup is very similar ,(PN 2101,ground down center ,dual plane /spacer ), touch the accelerator... It jumps !!!
