Easy solution - locker room for males , locker room for females , separate locker room with sections divided for MTF trans and FTM transgender . If Transgender students don't feel comfortable in the locker room which corresponds to their biological gender , give them their own space where they don't have to intrude into somebody else's space . Same with public restrooms .

This interview was oversold in the title. I was looking for something that focused on how you help a parent get a kid to desist, or at least a succinct description of one parent's success in guiding the child out of the gender-confusion morass. I wish the channel had edited out all of the "how we got sucked in" part, the belittling of the whole movement and this mother's (understandable) anger at finding her daughter had fallen under the influence of pro-trans adults and kids at school, etc. That was at least the first half. And it would have been great if the mother and interviewer and had met to organize the parent's thoughts first into a list of methods / tips and paused between thoughts. The mother has a lot to offer, but she is like a firehose of information and emotion. And the interviewer seems to encourage her to spew about her emotions and distaste for the movement. The emotions and the story of how this family got into the problem and the discussion of the political issues and status are important topics but would be more helpfully handled in separate videos. Should XY (male chromosome) or XX (female chromosome) Determine Men or Women? Here's the serious problem. If a baby is born with a normal look genatalia of a girl, we raise them as a girl. Past puberty age has no menstruation and no puberty hair. The girl and parents consults a doctor and tests are run. The doctor tells that the girl can't ever reproduce and that her chromosome is XY. She has all the exterior of a vagina... but can never reproduce. This has a simple reason. Some people are born androgen insensitive. That's it. 2% of all babies are born this way. It is the same probability as red haired people. So, in your classes, you were sitting next to a few red haired and Intersex people. You just didn't know the latter. With a XY chromosome, they look pèrfectly girl or women. No penis, no uterous, no ovaries. No visible testicles. Their testicle tissues are a size of beans floating in their lower abdomen. Never developed and never descended. Regardless of age, they never have body hair. 2% of babies are born androgen insensitive. Are we going to place them into men's quarters? Boy schools? Boyscouts? Men's lockers and men's boot camp? Because their chromosome is XY? You will not be able to. Period.
This situation is absurd. First, locker rooms have private stalls for changing, so there's no need to be shirtless in front of everyone. Second, nudity isn't inherently sexual, and discomfort with it is a personal issue that needs to be addressed individually. The trans person isn't interested in girls, so accusations of inappropriate behavior are hypocritical. Trans individuals deserve acceptance without double standards. Third, it's disrespectful to refer to trans people by their biological sex or genitalia. It's invasive to assume someone's surgical status. The claim of teaching body privacy while changing openly in a locker room is contradictory. The focus should be on teaching children about bodily autonomy and consent, not policing others' bodies. The repeated use of "male" is insensitive and potentially bigoted. But on the other hand uncle George can just wair lipstick and start using the girls locker rooms? It's also ridiculous.
