When I saw a physiotherapist, he did the initial consultation but did not explain what would be included in the treatment plan. Then he passed me to his assistant who is a kinesiologist who seemed to be the one designing the treatment plan exercises that only included strengthening and no flexibility exercises (which I also needed) and her medical knowledge was limited in that she could not understand the functional limitations of my injury. It became a messy situtation that I will never again choose a physiotherapist who works with an assistant.
می تونم فقط با رجیستر شدن و ایلتس هفت ،برای کار به انگلیس بیام
سلام شما فارسی بلدین من سال اخر فیزیوتراپی هستم
I am literally having a terrible placement now. The educator just took over the patient and I was just observing most of time, even it was my third placement already
After completing a 1 year polytechnic diploma (after dropping out of highschool) with a B+ grade average, I can now go to the top university in my region for Physiotherapy. Taking sport science as a pathway to Physiotherapy for those who need to complete an extra year of study isn't a bad option at all (especially since it allows you to get registered as a personal trainer which opens up a flexible wellpaying part-time job while studying). Some of the papers I've taken (Anatomy & Physiology, Structural Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Prescription etc) are also probably more relevant to Physiotherapy than the courses you'd take doing an extra year of highschool. One university in my area also allows you to get registered as a Physiotherapist by doing a 2 year Masters degree in Physiotherapy after completing a Sport/Exercise related degree (which ends up taking 5 years including the 3 year sport bachelor which is only a year longer than a 4 year Physiotherapy bachelor).
Physical therapists in the U.S., at least several southeast states, basically sit in their offices while their assistants do their work. They have found since insurance pays same rates as a PT, that if their assistants do the work, then they can make more money. And they say it is with supervision? Its not here. Hell we don't even see the PT and the assistants actually can damage a patient and they have before.. Insurance needs to stop paying a Pt rate for an assistant. That's what has caused this mess ! Could you imagine going to the dentists and the dental assistant does the dentist work? There's quite a difference in the education. That's the reason I choose the new business of physiotherapists here because they actually take care of their own patient.
I can tell you from a patient's experience. Physiotherapy has begun here in U.S., but few selections, and I hope it is growing..
👍
You missed out having condoned fail. Where u given the credits but below the pass mark. Does condoned fail work for masters
I live in Canada - I don’t think I would have an option of using screens

Hello masoud thank you for your information ....I'm a nurse and want to be a sport physiotherapist. How do i reach in this subject by bachelor nursing? Is it possible or i have to start physiotherapy school from beggining?
Thank you for your information! I have a question. I have just M.A/B.A in Philosophy in Korea. Now I'm considering to change my career as a physiotherapist in U.K. I haven't had an education regarding biology, chemistry. Could I enroll in the course of Bsc in Physiotherapy? Do I need to supplement those courses to enroll like the foundation course?
Hey, I'm changing my career into Physiotherapy so I think that I can answer to most of your questions. You'll most probably would need to complete one year of something called " Access to Higher Education" in either Physiotherapy or Science, according to the university's entry requirements. There are Distance Learning form of it offered online. Not sure if you'll need it for a Foundation degree. Make sure to go to a work experience in a Physio department and observe as many of the departments as you can. Read physiotherapy books, show them in your statement and interview that you are really serious about starting the profession. Good Luck P.S. And IELTS score 7 as well.
You've changed so much since when you first started uploading! I hope youte enjoying your profession , I still have the dream one day to do this uni course. Where did you do your biology access course?
Hey 👋, thank you for commenting , I’ll take that as a compliment 😅. Go for it, I did my foundation degree at the university of Plymouth
Hey thank you for the response! Was it a multi-science/subject course or do they do one specifically for biology?? (It is a compliment, your confidence has grown)!
Was it the BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences with Foundation Year?
Hi Masud.I have HCPC Uk registration 2023 of May .do you have idea how to get certificate of sponsorship? Do I also need a case study?
This vedio was really very informative I have few queries to ask I am physiotherapist from India. So could i apply for this? You have mentioned about the language exam I just came across this vedio and the exam had happened before this so what's next? Do i need a specialization in a field before applying? Do they heir freshers? Keenly waiting for your response
Hey Masud ! Thank you for your useful videos and content. Your channel helped me a lot to prepare for my interview. Today I received an offer from the University of Hertfordshire..
Well done Todor !! 🎉🎉 Thank you for sharing your success my man, it’s nice to hear 😃 , I’m glad I was able to help you. Good luck wherever you choose to study 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I have a diploma in Physical education and sports can i qualify to study physiotherapy
Im a health professional but it shouldn't be the patient's responsibility to understand the health professional it should be up to the health professional to push back to system and organizational structures so that they don't have to lower their standards of care or accept that they aren't able to follow their professional codes of conduct. You should treat each person the way you would expect to be treated....simple as that.
Assalamualikum.. Iam from india and iam interested in physiotherapy. But when i think this only question comes in my mind is i have to deal with opposite genders also.. Iam a naqabi alhamdulillah.. And touching a non mehram is haram so.. So plzz suggest me what i should doo...
Habibty, being a physiotherapist you will have to touch them but it is exceptional for the health care giver and other inevitable services but just try to minimise contacts do it when necessary only...
Hi Masseud.I have HCPC REGISTRATION in the UK.May I know how to be sponsored by an employer and how to apply?
Hi Sir, how about MSc physiotherapy in Salford uni . May I know any feedback for this Uni.
Sports therapists are highly trained and skilled and can see a wide variety of MSK issues. Usually more so than a physio!
got my interview in 2 hours 😵💫
AI will not replace jobs but the person who know AI better "WILL"😊❤
Physio keeps you moving 💪😊
Hi Masud! Thanks for all your videos as they are very informative. Can you please tell me if you get paid during placements or you have to pay? From what I gather, it would be quite difficult to work (even part-time) during placements due to the work volume. Thanks in advance.
hey, i was just wondering, I've done B tec pe for my A-levels and i am worried i cant get into a uni for physiotherapy with my degrees, like do i need biology to get into a uni for physiotherapy.
hi Masud thank you so much for your video I am a student from Hong Kong considering studying physiotherapy in the UK. May I know how much time you spent on revision per day? how about right before your exams? I am really interested in the course but I don't know if I can manage the workload🙈 thanks a lot
Hi Hayden, Thank you for your message, I would say on average about 2-3 hours per day during term time , before exams it was a lot more - I was spending about 5-6 hours of my day in the library and practicing with course mates … it is a lot of studying but if you like it then it’s not as hard to put the hours in , go for it! 👍🏼
@@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 thank you so much 🫶
These are great points which I feel like are essential to know before you decide to become a physiotherapist as well. Much appreciated.✨
What is the meaning of (physiotherapy is allied health care profession) that is like nurse to assist the doctor or no
Can we work as a physiotherapist if our hcpc license is in process?
Hi 👋, not as physiotherapist but as physio assistant whilst waiting for your registration. Physiotherapist is a band 5 in the NHS whilst physio assistant is band 4.
I call all Physiotherapist Doctors...to me its the proper name for them even when my father's physiotherapist tells me to call him PT Joel....
Are you still good at basketball
🤣 not like before but yes …
Hi
I’m currently applying to PT Schools and this helped me alot since it’s not really talked about thanks!
heyyy can u tell me directly bcs im going to do my degree in sports science and after the degree im going to do masters in physiotherapy is that okay ? and can i complet my goal?
In the country in which I live, the national registrar of physiotherapists allows you to register by doing a masters degree in Physiotherapy after a bachelor in sport science. But it will vary from country to country so check the Physiotherapy Board website of whatever country you live.
Thank you, it was a very interesting video. Could you do one on CPD portfolio? Please
Hi thank you for commenting, I’ve made a video on CPD a while ago here kzread.info/dash/bejne/lKN2l7Sgd5zektI.html

You’re welcome
Hello masud hope you are doing great.. want to ask that l am registered with HCPC UK license is it easy for me to find a Physiotherapy job in private clinical setup or a hospital in UK ? I am waiting for your reply..thank you
Hi Wahab, thank you for your comment, yes it is fairly easy once you have HCPC reg, there are recruitment agencies who can help place you within a job. Where are you in your job search at the moment ?
@@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 I apologize for the late response Masud bro. At the moment, I am applying for a job on NHS trac, and I am currently in my home country, Pakistan, rather than the UK. So, do I have a chance or not?
my guy hope youre well in 3rd/4 year now
That’s awesome bro, I’m happy for you! Not long left now till you’re qualified 💪🏼
They are telling me to retake the year cus I failed my practical ughhh. I’ve not been offered a 3rd attempt.
That’s unfortunate to hear man, it’s not easy so I understand. Which year are you in?

I am a Muslim Hijab who just completed my 4th year in physio degree now am heading towards my internship. I studied in India and my class was having 6 hijab muslim and 1 practicing muslim man. At first it was difficult for some of us because of the interaction with opposite gender and dressing style but we got it all figured out Alhamdulillah. We we're using screen/curtains when a female suppose to expose here body, we are practicing on other female. Sometimes u had to practice on a male bcz you might meet a male patient and treat them but if needed we used to do the minimum required contact and for patient only if there is no male therapist and u avoid unnecessary contacts. If anyone wants to know more of it you can ask me anything. Alhamdulillah i was delighted to see this post. Thanks to you Masud it's so thoughtful of you ! 😊 Assalam aleykum!
How are you gonna work once you finish your internship or during internship? It's obvious that you have to deal with patients of the opposite gender and being a physio it isn't possible to avoid physical contact.
@@mohamedmisfer6316 I also wanted to know.....
I am an indian muslim girl who just completed 12th and is interested in physio only thing stopping me is 'will there be alot of non mehram physical interaction?' ..so should i go for it or not..?
You do it when necessary and especially when there isnt any male therapist with you, Alhamdulillah maybe people around me used to respect me but i used to only do it when necessary and mostly on elder patients @@mohamedmisfer6316
@@MendelGregor-ks6whhabibty Go for it, I think that the Indian culture and norms is strick and favoring our Islamic ways alot or maybe bcz I was in Rajkot, Gujarat. But I'm assuring you this should not be a problem you will definitely figure it all out. Don't forget to pray and ask Allah for guidance !
