  I still find it amazing that this guy became a binge drinker in his 60's and became sober in a short time. He almost didn't make it, but it is truly a blessing that he is still here

  Always was and still forever will be my favorite song from Phil Collins. I loved the the lyrics and it being about something deeper and more meaningful in this world. Still to this day, I've never heard another song revolve around homelessness and being in need. Not like this one did

  This is the first time he did this song in the original key since March 15th 1990

  And dropped in key after because Phil had so much difficulty singing it in original key and his voice was deepening around that time. This reminds me of the stripped back performance he did in 1985 with Daryl Stuermer on the Jonny Carson show.

  So true what he said about keyboard sounds creating their own moods and moving you in a certain direction. It's a double edge sword, especially if you start with that as you can get stuck in box, but it can also you take you places you would never have imagined otherwise.
