The scope is defined by your goals tbh. However, in traditional terms, Biotech is a huge industry and therefore has way more job opportunities. Neural and cognitive science, on the other hand, hold the promise of creating revolutions in civilization - so there's that. The former needs way more long-term thinking than the latter.

no bro, dont worry. Keep the income only in your home currency. And also, in currency section, it will ask currency and there u should select ur home currency.

Most international students will select F1 visa. Check carefully your own status.
