There is a 39 Mk II for sale at www.hallberg-rassy.com/yachts/pre-owned-yachts-for-sale/hallberg-rassy-39-mk-ii-2000 For 3 cabins in the bow you need to go over 60 feet on a Halberg-Rassy. If you cont the saloon as a cabin, then you need at least a 44 to get three cabins.

Expensive is when it is not worth the money. This yacht costs a furtune, but is worth it, so not expensive. But a lot of money, yes.

Just like a regular furling headsail. You can reduce sail or furl entirely. You can also use both sails overlapping on one side as a genoa. This sail is amazing. Safer downwind and all can be done from cockpit.

Brilliant yacht, so many well thought out features, and a great turn of speed available at the press of a button. Was there any thought of a design option to give the 2 helm positions more protection, say with a step up of the solid roof extending back to the pedestals and having windows to look forward through, thus enabling the entire area to be enclosed with 'clears' to protect the seating area from inclement weather when at anchor?
For at ancor or in a marina, there is a tent available for the rest of the cockpit. For sailing in rough weather, there is an autopilot control from inside the hardtop.

With one of these, I think I would have my groceries delivered directly to the boat so I wouldn’t even have to go to the supermarket… Beautiful boat. I saw a brand new 44 in a marina last summer and have to admit that videos don’t make these boats justice, the looks are quite striking. It’s the overall straighter lines and sharper chamfer radius I guess… makes it look more modern and taut live than pictures show.

this was a lovely watch after years. always liked the Ljungstrom rig (1930s) that felt just right to reach with, the butterfly sail. Please present some more with manual overrides on sail controls. May want to redo the R symbol, connected with the back, as is normal.
