Being a real estate agent is not tailored for all or everybody’s job would be in real estate and earning millions of bucks! Been there, done that not for me. Good luck to all aspiring to become one, there are fees and realtor dues that you need to pay monthly, quarterly and yearly before you even earn your first check!

I recently inherited a really nice property from my late grandpa. I've been considering ways to generate some extra income from it to support my family, especially with the economy being so tough right now. A friend suggested I look into the Airbnb business instead of selling the property. I don't know where to start and can't afford to make any mistakes.

Half a decade ? That’s nothing in a professional career. The truth is that Realtors have been misrepresenting the fact that commissions have always been negotiable. The NAR settled because if they had been found guilty of conspiracy then treble damages would have been applied. That would have ended the NAR. 6% commissions are only standard in the US. Most of western Europe uses a 1-1.5% commissions. Dual agency agreements will become the norm.

I want to purchase a cheap plot of land in Sacramento and I don't want to build anything on this land but I do want to live on this land in a Class C or Class A RV/Trailer. I inquired about some plots I am interested in and they said they didn't want to sell me the plot unless I was planning on building a single family home on the plot. Can you help me find a suitable plot in Sacramento?? Can you help me find a land seller that will not tell me what to do with my own land?? I want to live close to hospitals and grocery stores.

I don't feel this was as information as described. Also, you mentioned a sales agent has 4 years, that's not really true. A sales agent has 2 years before their licensing expires. Possibly mentioned the conditions for an extension, or that you have to become a broker.

84% 😱 that is pretty high even if you are on commission base. The company you work for must have a lot of agents to be able to make a profit or they have few staff to pay to do some of the paperwork as well as office + advertisement.

another great video - I am starting out brand new here in Australia as a Real Estate Agent (6 years experience of Banking and Finance and 4 years in the Construction Industry, I'm 28 now - quite late to the party of this career, but never to late to succeed in something new) your transparent videos and open tonality in dialog has been extremely enlightening on the industry as a whole , regardless of being in different countries the delivery of the product "selling yourself and real estate" is the same. Regarding studying, you can find online sites where it's actual flashcards... I found them for the California state exam... I prepped for one week, did nearly 1,500 flashcards. Also, received advice from a guy who has taught in person with flashcards and tips. One great piece of advice: If there are questions you can't answer in the moment, leave them. When you are almost done, except for those questions you set aside, get up, go to the restroom and then come back. It works. I was able to bang out answers quickly. I don't know why it works, but it does !! Good Luck...

I have a background in marketing and media design. I have not even taken my test yet and Im already spending the money to have my Real Estate marketing materials ready to go. Im customizing these items. Open House signs, Brochure templates , Website , social media accounts. etc. some stuff requires DRE liscence number. those items are cheaper to get and can be fixed later. I also have a bunch of tote bags that i bought for my pop up shop that I ended up not using. So gift bags are already ready to go lol. once I'm done with all of that I'm investing in a quality wardrobe. I also used to work in very high end jobs. Appearance does matter alot. and speaks before you do. So yeah a nice blouse and some plain slacks can help you get by. But if you can try to level that up a bit. If you don't have alot of money believe it or not I've found some good quality work dresses and blouses on aliexpress and shein. They have good quality items. so instead of paying 7$ go up a bit and pay the 20$ especially on shein tops liste 14$ up are great quality. dresses listed 20$ up are pretty solid. the lower price the item will basically fall apart. for higher end stuff. I have luxury of living in Los angeles. So I find new with tags & high end label stuff at local thrifts all the time I usually buy basics and maybe dresses if I find good ones at the thrift pants I get from the thrift. 80$ pair of really nice slacks for only 12$. Shoes are the hardest items unfortunately there is no such thing as cheap shoes that are comfortable. you can thrift some. but personally I buy all my shoes new from quality brands. ross and marshalls are the only cheap stores I'll recommend for shoes. anything steve madden is a life saver. If you live in los angeles DTLA will be your best friend and double check the alley first before going online. Daily essentials I spent a cool 700$ on amazon on office supplies and some extras. Also dollar tree is okay for basic supplies. except pens I always invest for pens😂. sharpie pens is the way to go. over all what I have learned in other industries. is taking the time to prepare before hand will save you so much time and money later. because you won't be rushing to do stuff. Get all the small stuff out the way early if you can squeeze the extra funds for it.
