Look up "dye activated solar cells". If I recall correctly, they also use zinc oxide but apply a dye afterward to increase light absorption, increasing efficiency and thus current.

Historically, sticker paper has sometimes been used as etch resist itself. I once got a PCB fabrication kit that came with etch resist stickers for traces and components. Maybe try removing the other part of the sticker paper, pressing the remaining part down really good, and then skipping the marker. If the sticker paper does work well as resist, you'll get much better etching results than with marker. That will save you a step and all of the time spent trying to get the marker lines thick enough _and_ get you a better end result!

Hard to be sure from the video: does it just toggle on and off, or does it do that annoying 3-way mode toggle?

If I’m not mistaken, that ferric chloride is the stuff a friend damn near got killed by his girlfriend in high school over. He spilled it on her brand new white sweater and I swear we didn’t see him for like 2 weeks after. His mom said he had mono, but we think he had a black eye and busted lip from her kicking his ass all the way home! LOL!

One. What the heck is "crystal silicone paste"? Where do you get it? Did you mean crystal SILICON paste, the waterproofing compound? FYI: "SILICONE" is a polymer compound, that is plastic. Not electrically conductive. "SILICON" is an element semiconductor. So many people don't know the difference, so here is an easy memory aid: Silicon is for electronics and silicone is for boobies. You're welcome. Two. What is the short circuit output current of this cell under direct sunlight? Can this thing do actual work? Like charge a small battery?
